Ummm I'll give a review once I get into it lol. It's really cumbersome at first but I get you'll get used to it after awhile. Why did I buy it? Who the hell knows. -------------------- |

Does the texter provide on-screen cues for typing, or do you need to memorize that crazy chart?

I love the sneak of the PSO Book of Hunters Art Book on the left. What's the PSO collection up to now? I pretty much got every major release of PSO except for PSO plus. I have 2 more artbooks and a handful of posters coming in. Does the texter provide on-screen cues for typing, or do you need to memorize that crazy chart? Nope. So yea you sorta have to memorize the thing. The learning curve on this thing is rediculous. Once I start to "type" at a decent rate, I'll give a full review. -------------------- |

Does it only text letters, or are there shortcuts for common words?

Does it only text letters, or are there shortcuts for common words? It can do numbers and symbols but no shortcuts. Seriously though, its like learning how to type again. I still can't get a decent speed going. I'll give a short rundown after I get home from work. Video review is in progress =) -------------------- |

Doesn't a huge learning curve defeat the purpose of me just going out and buying a 10 buck KB and typing easily, while still being able to mashing the photon art button, or does the texter whispher sweet poems to you as well. That thing looks hella confusing to use.

I think if they had released something like this at the beginning of the PS2's online life cycle, and made it a "standard" for the console's virtual keyboard input then it might have taken off. But as it stands now, PS2 is on its way out, and all online (console) games now support voice chat, negating the need for excessive text input during the game. But hey, STICKERS! -------------------- |
