I have been working on this for a while and I wanted to share it. This is my concept for a Humarl. Still quite sketchy but I wanted everyone to see it in production. When finished it will be in color and with a background.
This image has been scaled down considerably from the original. |

Well, I told ya all this already... but I'll say it again here. =)
Totally kick-ass. I love the costume design, and the sword is coming along nicely. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished product. =D Thanks for sharing! |

That's going to have some nifty lighting effects. Great work so far. ^.^d

Man that is the hotness. Seems like most of th AT members are skilled in the way of the pencil. Man I just wish I could be that good. :-/
Anyways, the costume desighn is cool, really original, I like the boots, sorta like the Ramarls boots mixed with dragonballZ boots. I even like how you got so much detail into it, from the barrier to the slot for the section ID. Man and to boot, shes a looker too. Cant wait to see how it turns out. -------------------- "Brotherhood asked for no friendship, only loyalty. You gonna Photoshop it?
Maybe you could try Painter for a nice touch! Excellent work though. -------------------- |

*nods* a HUmarl, interesting - if i may ask, what are the dimensions for the original, & what medium are you planning to use to color & highlight? =. drawing is a beautiful thing ~ where would we be as a species without the creative spark of imagination?

Thanks for the comments and interest. To answer unitself and DivA'a questions, I will be coloring it using Photoshop and the original piece is roughly 10"x18"

I definately second that. I've wanted to use a HUmarl character since dreaming about them back on the DC. I guess this is as close as I can get to the real thing. <_<; -------------------- PSN ID: USF_Tailgater

Very nicely done. HUmarls are definitely the hottest, which is why my PSO3 avatar is one. Gives me something pleasant to rest my eyes on, heh heh.
-------------------- "So this Zealot comes to my door, all glazed eyes and clean reproductive organs, asking me if I ever think about God. So I tell him I killed God. I tracked God down like a rabid dog, hacked off his legs with a hedge trimmer, raped him with a corncob and boiled off his corpse in an acid bath. So he pulls an alternating-current taser on me and tells me that only the Official Serbian Church of Tesla can save my polyphase intrinsic electric field, known to non-engineers as 'the soul.' So I hit him. What would you do?" -- Warren Ellis, Transmetropolitan
