Your favorite character?, from your roster Options

Out of all the characters you have created throughout pso's many versions, which is your personal favorite. I know many of us have had several different characters while some have recreated old favorites from version to version, tell us which one you enjoyed the most.

For me it will have to be my current main, Harbinger. I started him out on the Import back in September, getting up to level 118. When we moved to the US version I recreated him and still play him to this day. I started out as a melee Force, because fluids were just too damn expensive. As I got higher in levels I moved to 100% Techniques and eventually returning to the life of a melee Force. RIght now the only techs I use are support techs, relying solely on my Twin for offense.

If I had to choose a second it would be Wave Serpent from v2. This was a Ramar that I played almost exclusively at the time, even going so far as to achieve S-Rank

oh theres so many to choose from. Ozza i've always had good times with, my first 200, first S-Rank, first character e.t.c. Dark fury on his DC days as a FOnewm...... had great times.... Angana on GC, at level 11 i'm living a fantasy world at the moment being that she does 1000 damage + at the moment lol. But5 my all tiem favourite character has to be ANGELAN.rna from way way back on the DC. i got the name from VirtualOn, a game i absolutely loved, despite onyl playign it about 3 times..... I just had so much fun with her, as i decided that i wouldn't have any external help whatsoever, and for once i actually foudn good stuff quite frequently. i remember my L&K's that dropped in hard mode (this is back from V1), the final impact i got, the silence claw e.t.c.... Which back in the days before ultimate were considerred very rare. i just had so much fun levellign her, and also had soem of my greatest games with a few dutch friends i made, it was such a good time, if only i could meet up with them again.

My favorite is Crushinator, for he is the greatest PSO character ever. Besides Galactia.

good question *ponders* ~ in truth, i love my PsO avatars dearly, for each represents a different reflection of my persona; though if i had to choose, then -eclypse- shall be the one.. ^.- she is cool & level-headed, even under the most pressured moments; *smirks* indeed, she is a one person demolition team - never underestimate the quite ones that carry formidable firearms, lol..

My RAmarl is the damn best around, had her since GC PSO came out, and never a single regret. That is all.

I've always had a HUcast named Ripper1486 for each version, since the DC. I just like the HUcast He has always been the first character I make each version. I just like being a HUcast I guess

DivA, the quiet ones eh? i know what you mean, i love scaring people with my little FOnewearl, she is level 11, and with the right stuff equipped is nearly twice as powerful in normal with foie than my level 104 FOmar. i recorded a max of 1206 yesterday, with my super mind mag, fire scepter, foie merge, 2 god/mind and 2 wiz/tech's.

I am with Ripper on this one.
I started out with a HUcast on the DC and remade him on the GC version.
scu is his name.
I just like the HUcast. I have tried a RAcast, no luck. I have had a ranger or two and a force or two. Ranger, so so. Force, aww geez. I am so bad at forces. There just aren't enough buttons on the controller or something. Plus, there's all that tech memorizing!

My favorite one would have to be my tiny FOmarl "REINEe" from the DC days.I started my main character on the DC as a RAmar named "Riel" but after a while i wanted to try another class,i was tired of shooting guns all the time so i decided to make a FO for the spells.I also played a few games with Magenta back then,who most of you know was the "original",with Lish i guess,tanking FOmarl.I have to say she was the most fun i had on PSO playing as.The only reason i didn't remake her on the Cube or Xbox is because i,again,wanted to try the new classes so i made my seconf favorite up to now,my HUcaseal Ann-Dro,which was a RAcaseal on DC.

It would definitely have to be Oneida from back in the v.1 and v.2 days on the DC. (can't you tell by my member name?) It's the character I'm known for.

I always love the magic oriented characters in RPGs, but still wanted to have some kick in the physical dept, so I naturally chose a FOmarl as my first character. Her trademark red hair become a signature for her, staying with her through all her fashion changes. She will always have a special place in my heart.

Amiens is great though, and being her twin brother, he's got a great connection with her.

Alas, Oneida's body is now gone, but who knows what the future holds? ....

I'd have to say Nikita all the way (give her a few more levels and she'll rival ya Sarge ;P). I absolutely love the RAmarl. I love her looks more than anything. Also, their mix of techs with nice MST and overall ATP and ATA fits my playing style perfectly. I like Hunters and all, but I like being able to set up my shots and kind of "keep an eye" on my comrades so to speak. Nikita is a lock and load type of lady who's more than willing to provide some coverfire. ;-)

My fomar Lord Folken is my virtual embodiement. Great at all thing but a master of none.
after being corrupted 3 times and making him over, ive grone pretty attached to him. But still, I can't forget about the Humar. The very first character I used back on DC pso and GC pso. I feel they where the version 1 form of fomars. good at many things but master of none.

In v1 it was my HUcast MetalGriever which I remade a few times. As for my current GC roster, Zeota all the way.

Well, Nick novalis, my second ever char, a FOnewm... (pretty juch an identical copy of my first char great0ne) was probably my most hated char... the first 2 or 3 incarnations (I forget) were destroyed by hackers by various means at around the lvl 50 mark.
My fave char ever tho had to be my FOnewearl, my most levelled char, NovaYume EoD, who reached the dizzy heights of lvl 113... until my annoying little bastard of a cousin saved over her....
In third place would be my last remaining, untouched char, a FOmarl, Lanova who is at lvl 105.. I think.
Well those are all PSO DC chars and since I dont have a BBA I guess they wont be seeing the light of day again :(

Oh and then theres the fact Ive FINALLY gotten a GC... PSO HERE I COME!


As you can tell I love Forces.. as I didnt mention my HUmar, novalis; RAmar, Planeta Nova and RAcaseal NOL H8R.. the first 2 reached pretty high levels 70-90 somewhere before i chose to delete them and NOL H8R *RX* was only really made for the old A*D and intrinity anti-hacking lobby skits ^^

i remember the days of that in oberon 1 lol. In soem ways i actually can't wait for hackers to becoem huge again.... it's just so much fun laughing at them.

My favorite character would have to my FOnewm Azrael. My FOmar comes in a close second(would be first if his hard techs weren't so weak in Ult). Unfortunately, both of these characters are on XBox only but I'm making "alternate reality" versions of them on Gamecube later. Out of the old school characters I used to have though, I would have to say my old 70s Soul Train Dancer look-alike FOnewm Eddie.

Well, my first character was a RAmar...that was the first time I ever touched the game and it was easier to kill from a distance without the risk of being slapped down by a booma...heh.

My second character I wanted to have fun with so I wanted a FOrce character. I liked being able to have high techs...especially support techs like S/D. I could only get lv15 with my RAmar. So, my RAmar retired at lv101 and Sheik was born. I decided on a FOnewearl as they have extramly high MST and TP potential along with good DFP and EVP. When I got to ULT techs start becoming not being able to cause little damage.

As Sheik approached lv145 I wanted to try out yet another character. I went with all techs and no ATP with Sheik being a FOnewearl so I decided to go with all ATP and no techs...and Kesho, a HUcast, was born. Kesho got up to ULT in about a week. I have been having quite a bit of fun with a HUcast for a change. I can actually run into a room...shoot the guys up, and think later...heh...unlike Sheik.

Right now I really enjoy both Sheik and Kesho...they both work great for cmode and at least if the team needs a FOnl or HUc I can easly switch as both of them completed cmode. I enjoy having the high supports with Sheik but enjoy all the ATP and HP that I get with Kesho. I am stuck between the two at the moment.

hi im new to this forum, anyway my favorite char has to b my beloved hucaseal metal gearV2, she is tough and has very good endurance, her skills as a hunter are top notch

That is really, really good. I wish I could draw worth a darn. I could not draw anything if my life depended on it. About the only creative stuff I can do is to use PhotoShop. Now that is something that I might be able to consider my self good at.

You have any other drawings like that? Some of us..hint-hint...might like to see them.

I suppose my favorite character would have to be Linka Knight, a red haired HUnewearl known for her generous bust. I made her back in the early days of ver, ported her over to ver2, and remade on GC.

My second was my HUcast, Illuminus (thats an i and 2 LL's), I also had him from the ver1 days. He didn't quite make it over to GC. But I now have a HUcaseal also named Illuminus, that I like play as.

I have had many chars on dc, most never lasting a week, but the 2 above will always be in some form or another on future PSO's

Anyway I guess my favorite character would be my HUmar The Bouncer since ver.1. For some reason I can't stand using tall HUmars. My best and funniest memories have been with The Bouncer and I don't know what I'd do without him.

I'd have to say my favorite character is my current one; Kazcht the HUmar.
I've been through many a HUmar since DCv1, but he's just my favorite. Sporting his red, white and black armor with his matching trusted sidekick RATI. I like to call him: The Crimson Angel...of Death!!! lol j/k

Well, I've remade Angel, my HUne in every version of PSO sans XBPSO (because I don't own it). I've really enjoyed seeing how the gameplay has changed with her over the levels and in GC PSO. I'm very attached hehe. Yeah, the name's not original now...but it was for about 3 hours on DC PSO back in the day . I really dig the lvl 20 techs in this version as well.

My favorite char is my HUmar Forever Zero. I remember I made him on ver 1 when Sonic Team put that Sonic birthday stuff up. Haha, so yea that was kinda special. I made a LOT of HUmars on dc PSO, and I decided this is my favorite one so I remade him on GC PSO :D

Personally my favorite would have to be the RAcaseals. When I first started playing offline I thought the RAcaseal would be a rare character to see online. Sure it's uncommon to see many in one spot (you may get lucky in Antares 6 when the next RAcaseal party comes around) but we're out there!

Oh they were all great...but I'd have to say my RAmar Khaotika. I've stayed with this RAmar since Feb 2001, and I haven't enjoyed another character like him since. (Mostly coz there isn't another char model that looks like me in the face. )

Honorable mentions go to:

(Androgyny) - GC Fomar. I have WAY too much fun playing a sexually ambiguous bish-boi. I should seek help but I think the voices in my head are way too powerful.

Clairity - DC Hunny. She made it to 106 or so, and then I got bored with her. :/ But she was a cutie, and I loved all of my hotkey shortcuts. "Hands off the goods, boys!" "I'm Clairity Tart!" "Sour and sweet!" "Good enough to eat!"........and my favorite: "I leave a beautiful corpse!"

LuccaAshtear - DC Fonewearl. Started off rping her as Lucca from Crono Trigger and she ended up a bitch on wheels. She also had the luxury of finding my fave wand, Magical Piece, as well as being an overall thrillride to play.

GraceMacabre - DC Fomarl. Didn't spend enough time on her, sadly. She was black, which was a rarity back then, as almost all the characters I saw were the whiter skin tones. As her name implied, she was fairly morbid...which with me = fun.

For me, it's probably HUcast. It' s what I started with on the DC and it's my main character still. I had a RAmar, who got to the mid 50's and a FOnewm, who got around the 30's, but neither of them were as cool to me as my HUcast, scu.
Now, on the GC, it's back to the HUcast for me. Maybe it's because I just have to run around and shoot without thinking too much. Maybe it's just because they look so freakin' cool.
Recently, I created a FOmar, who I am becoming quite fond of. This is a biggie because I now have to go from the run in and shoot HUcast style, to ... oh crap, which spell is best for taking down this monster? Not to mention, the FOmar's crappy ATA will never allow him to get a better weapon for a long long time. So, I should get pretty good at spell casting. 'Course I still can't remember to cast Shifta and/or Deband.. at all.
That all said, I am having alot of fun with my new Fomar, Terran.

HUcasts are fun to play...I do the same, rush into the room, shoot em up with mechs, then ask questions later. That is what is getting me in trouble in cmode lately...heh. It takes a while of getting used to thinking attack stragegy as in cmode you have to think stragegy, not just kill kill kill, but how to prevent your self from being killed!

A FO has a bit different strategy, although me playing a Fonl is quite a bit different. If you though your ATA and ATP were bad on a FOmar you should check out my FOnls stats. She is all techs, supports, and that's about it. It takes a while for me to go though offline mode with her, but I did it as I really wanted Seabed unlocked for online. I have started experimenting with attacking while playing ULT online, but mostly just support (S/D/J/Z/Resta) you know, all the good stuff that HUcs like FOs to do.

Just for fun I will sometimes pickup a Gladus or something on the ground and start smacking away at the enemies with it...doing my wonderful 150 damage...lol.

FOs are fun to play, but it is always a challenge balancing between support and attacking and efficiently using a FO to the best of their abilities.
