Well, on our way through the Seabed last night I noticed that those long ramps in certain rooms let you get a fantastic close-up view of your teammates. So, some lucky folks got their pictures taken. =D
For anyone interested, un-cropped and un-compressed images can be provided upon request. Each such file is about 300k. PM me if ya want 'em. Without further delay.... First up is the lovely Zorya... Is it any wonder why Layrinn blushes when this hottie walks into the room? Babs is definitely a very striking woman... Babs doing what she does best... ... to be continued... (silly image limit) |

She has level 26 Foie and a few other cools things that let me beat some level 50's in BA in forest. She's so cute tho!! She's the smallest possible FOnewarl, with pigtails and a painted face, in the light-ish blue costume, and behind her is a huge rati thats at least 3/4 her height, she just looks sokawaii!!!lol -------------------- |

Ahahahaha... That made me laugh. Thanks everyone for the kind words. I have to give at least some credit to my old friend Cienna who taught me the finer points of Ragol photography. Anybodys else who wants a pic, I'll be happy to do so. It doesn't take long at all to get set up (I just have to log out and switch video modes), so just ask me about it next time you see me online and we'll get to it. Some popular places to take pictures include: Mines 2 Ruins 1 (Waterfall) Seabed Lower Jungle East Pretty much anywhere with a decent slope will work well. Action poses (with weapons) are a little hard to accomplish now, since we can't Zonde each other like we used to be able to, but we can always get creative... areas with traps, for example. Bryn: I take the screen shots with my PC using DScaler 3.10 and the S-Video input to a Hauppage Win-TV card. I then crop and compress the images with Photoshop. See you online! |

Y'know...mentioning traps gives me an idea rinn.. If you want a battle pose for pictures, just equip a trap vision, and have an android friend lay a trap nearby for you. When you get close to a trap, you automatically enter the battle stance.

Today we have two more members of the "Yelloboze Army"...
Here is sweet Schai. She looks like she's blushing... I wonder if she's camera shy? Scion looks so smug... I wonder what he's thinking? To anyone else wanting their picture taken: It's best to just catch me online and ask me then. It doesn't take long to get setup, so we don't really need to plan ahead. |

I really like how much detail is put into the characters on PSO. It's a shame that you never really get a good closeup like these during the game.

Ah yes... nothing is better suited for battle on Ragol than a corset and a pair of booty shorts. >.> Nei with her Double Saber. This weapon has been in the "family" for quite a while now. It was originally a gift to Layrinn from her friend Bremen. This shot was challenging to take, but I think it came out well. |

Great work 'Rinn. There's a certain Sir Mix-a-Lot song that describes you very very well. EEEEE! How ironic... 69 posts. One of my favorite numbers.

I was unlocking some Hard mode tonight and got playing around with the camera a little and started to think...this would make some nice shots...seeing the camera was getting stuck up against a wall and zooming in really nice.
If you do not know already I have created a new HUcast...quite fun I will have to say. I can just run in and stoot the tar outa everthing now instead of being so careful will my FOnewearl....heheh. I guess you could say I had a little HUcast shoot.....hey, I think some of them turned out pretty nice. I won't post em all becuase of the total size but you can view the rest directly out of my FTP server: ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03 or click the links at the end of the post...I will post links for em all. ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_01.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_02.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_03.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_04.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_05.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_06.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_07.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_08.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_09.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_10.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_11.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_12.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_13.jpg ftp://ftp.drassal.net/public/pso/05-17-03/Kesho_14.jpg EDIT: heh...I messed up the links the first time....my bad. -------------------- Level

Hmm... a guest contributor, eh?
Well, as alluded to in another thread... I have some shots taken of Rinn at some rather unusual camera angles. ^-^; I think this one has sig potential... Same pose, different angle. Yes, boys... they go all the way up. ^.~ "This is my bosom. There are many like it, but this one is mine." ;p Maybe she should use a little less starch in her laundry... those shorts look downright painful. <.< More to come soon... |

Bwaahahaha... Yes, we've all heard the rumors. Now we finally have the pics to prove it! Mute: absolutely... As much as I enjoy capturing my own characters, I would much rather shoot others'. Jas and Kenzie are photogenic enough on their own... together they'll probably melt the camera down! ^.~ But untill then... I bring you the elusive Neesah! Ever wonder why mags tend to float above your shoulder? I think Marutah likes the view. ^.~ Neesah practicing her saber moves. Here she is workin' it with her Bloody Art daggers. Slicers and HUnewearls... what a wonderful combination. =D |

Heheh Vitamin D's "senshi" pose. Again very nicely done rinn. Heheh we share the same pose in that last one. I wish it was one of the better ones as that one is my least favorite. Clay and Harb were blessed to have two lovely women accompanying them on yet another adventure.

Claymore has a brother! Who knew?
It's Atax, the RAcast! I guess looking like a bad-ass runs in the family. Gosh, what a large um... gun... you have. ^-^; And here we have Valcione the RAcaseal! Hmm... Valcione and Atax might make a cute couple! ^.^; Ranger weapons are so huge... they're awfully challenging to photograph. |

Wow, Rinn... those pics are really clear! How do you get so close to your character? I tried to zero in with the camera on the fourth controller, but I just can't get close enough to see the face, or much detail at all! Have any good tips..?

Mikella, sorry for the late reply. Anyways, the answer to your question lies in the terrain. The trick to getting awesome close-up shots is to position the subject at the top of any sloped surface, then stand behind the subject further down the slope. This puts your camera pretty much right in their face. Use the 4th controller to get your camera angle just the way you want it, and screen-cap to your heart's content! Some other suggestions: - Deband makes a great light source. - Androids can lay traps in front of the subject to achieve an action pose. - The "booty cam" used at the end of the Endless Nightmare quests can be used for some terrific shots, both solo and otherwise. Hope that helps! Also, it's been a while since I've posted any new pics here. I guess just about everyone's had their picture taken except the most recent new-comers. So, uh... if you new guys and gals want your picture taken, just lemme know! If anyone has any ideas for some shots they'd like to see, PM me or post 'em here and I'll see what I can do. =) In short, I'm taking requests. ;) See ya online! |

cosmic - thanks lots.. =) thus far, i have played mostly solo offline trying to unlock everything (yah, getting weapons & items solo can be most profitable.. ), due to the fact that i have yet to acquire a keyboard; but good news, i finally gave-in & purchased one yesterday, i should be receiving it within 5 days time.. so after that, i'll be online in full force..
lol, it'll be nice to actually type again as opposed to pre-set words.. *does the happy dance* |

Ooh.. requests! hee hee..
Ahh, I've noticed that sloped terrain does seem to help. It's good to know that's the key! Unfortunately, I can snap pictures to my hearts content, but I have no way of taking them off my GC (that I know of, anyway...) Therefore, I would be honored if you would consider my humble character for a photo or two! ;~) We'll have to meet sometime online, 'Rinn, if you don't mind, that is... -------------------- Do you think Samus carries around baby pictures of the Metroid larva in her wallet..?

Of course, Mikella! I always enjoy meeting new people. =) You can try to catch me in AT's usual spot (Altair:05-07) tomorrow evening, but any picture taking will have to wait until I'm moved into my new place. Once I get things up and running there... which will hopefully be around this time next week... I'll be more than happy to fill those requests. =)
Mikella, if we don't get a chance to meet up tomorrow then let's be sure to track each other down once I get back online a week or so from now. =) |
