I don't know, something. We have all these cool people here and it seems like we are wasting our resources. Let's all play a game? Sure, sounds good, but what game? Yahoo Pool? Flash MMO? 20 questions?
I know it's summer time and most everyone is out enjoying the weather and the like, but I do see a lot of people hitting the site every day. Let's design a game or plot some corporate takeover or something, all this intelligence is going to waste. I know, let's start a radio station, oh wait that's been done. Any ideas? |

Corporate take over is already under the way. Although, I can't vouch that it's AT inspired.
Well, maybe some collective game could be made. I've seen people make up stuff before (Rp with rules). I'm not in the take charge mood, but it's a start. |

ggs What we need is a good FPS to hang on. Wolfenstein Enemy Territory or C&C Renegade come to mind, me and a few others here did that. (c'mon, does everything have to be wizards and dragons?) But yeah, something besides a game would be nice, something productive, nothing comes to mind though really at the moment. (I'll think on it anyway) Or we can just play tanks in IRC. =\ -------------------- |

Something that could also be lucrative maybe. We all seem to be artisticly talent maybe a team that designs certain websites or maybe even come up with our own unique fashion, form our own company. We can also possibly meld our minds to write the greatest novel/story ever written. Or I can shell out a bunch of money so I can get a decent computer so we can actually play some decent FPS games online. You guys might think its cheesy but what about some kind of online chess tornament. Karate for the mind. Oh yeah personally I love the radio but at the moment am unable to be of any real help. Maybe once Im done with school however things might change.
My last brainstorm idea is form our own political party and take over the world by taking over America! (I'm actually serious about that last one) -------------------- "Brotherhood asked for no friendship, only loyalty. for the most part, it doesn't matter to me what we do. I'll be down. It's not the game or format that matters to me, but the people.

Exactly. It would be great to focus our combined efforts into something other than "level get!" for once. I have to refer to the AT Radio station once again. This is something that a couple of us planned out and took to fruition. We are having a blast with it and it has nothing to do with a game. I want more of you to have this much fun together and not have to be constrained by the lack of the proper platform to play a certain game. I am still brainstorming for a project, feel free to do the same. gotta do something to kill the time until the release of psu. |

Lets all play beer pong. I'll pwn ju allz!
As for actuall things to do. If anyone is any good at game programing you can maqke an AT video game. Something simple. Like Arkanoid AT style. Or we could all brainstorm and make a small action game plan it out draw it up and program it. As for non video game related stuff it's alot harder. We all have different interests The radio was an awesome AT invention. Though I never listen to it. |

Too bad this didn't come up last February. Otherwise we could've cashed in on the whole Janet Jackson nipple clip deal.

That's a good idea...there's also CoH that has a free 14 day trial...i think some of you played it a while back though but maybe we could wait for everyone to download it and start playing on the same few days.I never tried it myself so i'm not sure how the servers go and all...just a thought.

I got it running on my machine but having trouble with the updater on Bryn's. I think it has to do with a browser hijack she has on Internet Explorer. I think the game uses IE for it's updater, either way the game will not update at all. Fuck Internet explorer. I messed around with character creation but didn't really settle on a server yet. Yes I know, this is deviating from the intended purpose of this topic. |

I'm installing it now and trying to read on what type of MMO this is...i know it's different from the "usual" medievil type setting and gameplay of the other WoW,EQ of this world...
About the main topic though,i guess maybe if we get some AIM brainstorming, maybe that would help? let's call an official chat meeting on AIM or whatever most people use and try and get as much people as possible on there and try and discuss this. =) -------------------- ============================

It's more arcade style than other like titles. You run around a huge city and "fight crime" There are lots of missions to take up and you get some cool powers. I don't feel like it has the lasting power of most games of this type but it is fun to just go around and beat on criminals. It would be great to meet up at least once during the free trial for some "clobberin' time". edit: Let's move all COH discussion to this topic.
Good idea, let's set a date for an aim meetup. Weekends work better for me, preferably saturday evenings, but I can swing just about any other time weekend wise. |

here's another game some people might like the website is Fung Wan online (aka stormriders online) it has a 10 day free trial i used to play it in Open beta and had fun, only thing is it has pre-made clans because the story line of the game follows a comic book if you want to check it out, on the main page click on USA under countries, there's a story line on there too so i dont have to put it here heh you can just go read if you're interested and a page of quests to start you off if anyone decides to check out the 10 day trial, i'd suggest joining the Supreme Sword Clan, but that's the clan i was in..all it takes to join is finding the NPC and picking which clan you wish to join

Ok, since the weekend usually seems best for everyone, I say we all meet up on AIM this Saturday. I'll, get on early and hang out on aim all day while I drool at some PC's but, lets try to get things started around 8PM (Eastern Time).
I'll be on all night as well. -------------------- "Brotherhood asked for no friendship, only loyalty. They stood back to back as the galaxy burned - always brothers, never friends; traitors together unto the last." --an Excerpt from a Night Lords Novel Void Stalkers Chapter X: Revenge |

Hmm, I'm starting to think YOU plan it on purpose. Sorry I didn't get on guys. Got home late in the morning today and been pretty out of it the whole day. Guess we should arrange the aim meeting for another week seeing as no one is on. That is of course if anyone is still interested for the AIM world conquest brainstorm. -------------------- "Brotherhood asked for no friendship, only loyalty.
