I am raising a new mag that will be a pow mag for Harbinger. I have a current pow mag but it lacks the Mylla & Youlla PB. Chaining PB's seems to be quite popular now and very usefull in the tougher areas. It's rare that someone in the team doesn't have the Twins, but it has occured, so I am making sure that I at least get it. So I have a couple questions for you Mag Farmers.

What in your opinion is the best mag to have for a melee Force?

If I use a Cell on a mag before it learns all 3 PB's, will it learn them later?

Does it matter when the mag learns Mylla & Youlla? Does it make a difference where the PB is on the buttons?

When doing a 4 way PB Chain, which blast is best to do first/last to get maximum Shifta/Deband boost?

I ended up with the Leilla PB because I didn't plan it through before hand. Can this be used in a chain without dire effect on the S/D boost?

I'm far from being a mag farmer, but I think I can help you out a little bit anyways.

Have a lot of dex, unless you want to fill up on Elf/Arms. My main melee mag is going to be something like 10-140-50-0 (something like 875 base ATP at level 124 with maxed ATA). If you give it 10 mind, and sacrifice some power, you can learn Mylla & Youlla.

Nope, that is unless the mag you change it into learns a PB.

Don't think so...

I don't really know, I actually didn't know it made a difference.

I thought that if you used 2 support PB's (like healing and S/D) it cancelled the 2nd one out. Not sure though, it might just be when you try to use 2 of the same PB.

I hope I was at least a little bit of help, Dive.

In my PB experience (which has been a lot lately with all this seabed) it doesn't matter which specific PBs you use, but each person should do a different one, just to eliminate the risk of someone lagging on the order and getting 2 of the same one in a row. The most important factor is that all the mags have 200 IQ, so you get the maximum SD boost. If you use Leilla and Mylla & Youlla, you will get both SD and Resta.

Some people seem to put a stigma on Leilla and Farlla for PB usage because they are sucky PBs on their own, but they help just as much as any other PB when you are doing a combo.

Another thing is that you don't always need a 4 way PB. A 3 way PB with full support from the 4th party member is only slightly less powerful, and lasts just about as long. This is good to do if one of your group's mag is lacking in IQ or their syncro is really low and they have trouble gaining PB.
