~it's been awhile since i posted one of these; to those that know me, one of my passions is music - the power of sound is an amazing thing if composed right...since there are lots of new faces present, me thinks this is a good way of learning everyones' particular tastes..
keep in mind* - 1 tune per post, & if you wish to comment on your selection, then feel free to do so - music is known to bring worlds together; ok, time to start this one off proper.. kamaya painters : endless wave ~an impressive instrumental european dance track that cannot help but fill one's soul with thoughts of crystal dreams; very inspirational for dancing.. |

Totally breaking the rules here, but ...
Today the CD of the day is Artist - Killing Joke CD Name - Pandemonium With this CD, Killing Joke moved into a similar but more (bad description here) up-to-date sound. Starting out as more of a punk band many many years ago, they reached big success with the excellent album Night Time which has the anthem song for the decade 'Eighties' on it. Damn that song rocks... the entire album does. Anyway, many years and albums later... Pandemonium. Sounds to me like they had been listening to Ministry the day before they wrote many of the songs. Not a bad thing, you can just really hear the similarities. Standouts for me include Exorcism, Millenium and Whiteout. Thanks to a certain AT'er, I have been listening to all of my old music again. The stuff that I used to listen to 10 - 15 years ago. It's been awesome. -------------------- |
