There's a way to fight any given boss online as many times as you want in the same game.
1. Gather 3 other friends or willing participants. 2. Get to the boss you wish to do this on. (usually DF as he doles out the most EXP) 3. Have one person pipe back up and stay behind while the other 3 fight. (this 4th person is part of the key to the trick working) 4. Once said boss does its dying animation, the 3 involved in the fight must immediately unplug the modem cord from your system. (don't press start till the dying sequence is done or you won't get the EXP. Also, this is why the 4th stayed behind and didn't fight.) 5. Rotate between your team who stays behind and camps out (sometimes called the "room sitter") between fights. 6. Repeat as many times as you want. If you do this with ultimate DF, I'm told you can garner upwards of 300-500k an hour if you have a stable team. -------------------- "Computers are incredibly fast, accurate and stupid. Human beings are incredibly slow, inaccurate and brilliant. Together they are powerful beyond imagination." -Albert Einstein |

Well that's what it is... I have no idea what went on at PSOW, and I am not about to stand here and defend either side... that's not what this post is about. But let's at least be honest about what we're dealing with. I can't speak for them, but I seriously doubt the programmers at SonicTeam intended for you to yank your network connection and be able to fight the bosses over and over again as a result. This trick is an exploit, and in my opinion it's just the same as duping. What do you do when you dupe an item? That's right... you yank your network connection. The only real difference here is that you actually have to do the work and fight the boss. But that still doesn't make it right in my opinion. I'm not impressed by anyone with a bank full of duped 12-star rares, and I will be equally unimpressed by someone who has attained level 200 through the use of this exploit. |
