I may have bought FFXI, but it ain't stoppin me for digging up some Phantasy Star news.

http://www.gcadvanced.com/article.php?artid=2720

Not really solid info but its something!

Phantasy Star Online DS (tentative title), is said to include both wireless and/or WiFi play, voice command options with the built in microphone and of course touch screen options.

WiFi? W00t! Voice command? Interesting!
The article also mentioned some other SEGA games (one of which caught my eye.. "Project Rub" hehehehehehe)

What do you guys think about a portable version of PSO?? Online slaying on the go at its finest!
I would sure put down some money for it if its true.

Wow. Weird. PSO DS.
Yeah, I'd buy it. I am already going to pick up the DS for Animal Crossing DS alone. So, all the other games are a bonus. Now, with the prospect of PSO DS, that's a huge bonus.
I don't know the specs of the DS very well. The graphics are supposed to be as good as or better then the N64, right? That's more than enough for PSO. What about memory? Is there enough to add a few more races, areas, weapons, etc?

Who knows?! It might have the graphical look of Legend of Zelda: The Four Swords! Imagine Endless Nightmare with 100s of sprites spawning at once as your character wobble about and shout out stuff in an annoying voice!

2D PSO can own!
We can only dream and speculate cry2.gif
