As a culture we have de-evolved greatly. Now we wage wars for money, oil and many other materialistic things. Everyone wants to be the best and they don't care who they have to kill to get there. In the olden days, when Naitive Americans walked the US, sure they had wars, but for survival. They didn't kill so that they could have more money, or gas for their cars. It was war for food. Sure I don't think food should be fought over, of you have it, share it, but when no one has it... you know where I'm going with this. besides war, I don't see how anything else has changed, there was always upper and lower class. the ugly and fat, the gay and straight and in all times in life these people were persecuted. So as a culture, we've go nowhere, since day one (if you take out war as a factor) |
