For those of you who want to try it on the XBox 360, go for it. Keep in mind, you need a gold live account, and you have to download it during the 2 days its available. Beta runs till the 18th.

Yeah, at first I was thrown off because the game doesn't really help you with the tutorial, and it doesn't tell you shit about the controls. But after partying with Kazicht, HC82, Riel, and some a few random guys that were pretty cool, this game is awesome as hell.

The best improvement over old PSO is the fluidity and variety in the combat, with the photon arts giving each weap a cool unique attack, and each one allows different strategies against monsters. We were constantly switching out sabers, dual sabers, handgun, sword, dagger to confront different situations. And the game is totally made for that play style, changing out weaps is totally smooth.

Leveling up your character comes at a quick pace, but actually leveling your class seems like something that will take serious dedication. Getting those advanced classes unlocked will definetly be a huge undertaking. Its also great how sparse meseta is compared to PSO, and how you actually NEED to be spending it all the time. You gotta buy mates, refill your PPs, get new weaps (cuz the enemies barely drop them now, and they always drop shit ones AFAIK). And your team's performance directly results in how much pay you get, there is a mission end summary after each level with a ranking determining your mission points and monetary reward.

Crushinator ProTip: Get a FO in your pt with resta as soon as possible, you save tons of money on m8s, and if you're a FO... buy resta! Don't fuckin dick around with foie as your only spell like some noob and help out the PT!

Also, forget any bitching about FOs and RAs getting the shaft. They are pretty kickass!
