After alot of weirdness (mostly on my part) I was able to get Vent running on my Mac. There is no help online from Vent and there is no help in the software either so I was mainly just flippin' switches to see what worked. I could hear everyone just fine, but I couldn't talk. I figured out that I need to switch a Sound Control Panel to the right input setting.
My only concern was that it seemed to go dead quiet often. So, I think I was missing out on some conversations. I wasn't seeing the speaker icons go green, so it didn't "look" like anyone was talking, but it just seemed like it was too quiet for too long. The quality was amazing, however. You guys sounded like we were in the same room. It was better than my land phone. Is there a setting to take down the quality and therefor, maybe, improve speed? I could see a selection for outgoing, but not for incoming. Voice chat is the wave of the future! I can't wait to swear!!!! After my mom goes to bed, that is.
