Speed racer... the movie? Where the hell did this come from? It looks TERRIBLE! And whats up with the cast and crew? Directed by the Wachowski's? Starring John Goodman, Susan Sarandon, Christina Ricci, and several other reputable actors? What kind of bizarro shit is this?

It looks like half of it wants to be this dark, edgy take on speed racer, then the other half wants it to be this bright colorful kids movie about racing. Keeping the character designs so close to the original is a bad move too, I bust out laughing when I saw John Goodman as the fat father |
