anyone else going to see this upcoming film? indeed, i have had my eye on this for awhile now; set in the Victorian Era, a unlikely team of formidable aristocrats are brought together to stop the plans of a feared adversary; here it the link below..

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

yes, yes - i am a fan for "steampunk" & this film shall fit the bill nicely; also, the web-site is well done, lots of useful insight here *possible spoilers* ;p though, the main reason for this link is to view the trailer - enjoy.. beigesmile.gif

The movie is based apond the comic of the same name, written by Alan Moore and drawn by Kevin O'Neill. From the preveiws of the movie I've seen, I can tell they have made a lot of embellishments from the origional characters. You  guys should check out the comic. The first volume is out in grapic novel form and its not exspensive ether.

*nods* the comic is brilliant - very insightful.. *ponders* though i wonder, where does Dorian Gray come into play, as well as Tom Sawyer? are they known later in the series, or is this custom for the upcoming film? ~hmmm, after absorbing the first novella of the series - Sean Connery's role as Mr. Quartermain is now questionable for some reason.. =.
