I knew something odd was going on as the game progressed and the way Alma acted with you. However I was generally more concerned with not being around her as much as possible. I do not recall her talking much in Fear 1 and its expansion beyond the screams and they took my babies. Well this time around she does say things. Hearing her say 'I hate you!' in an angry voice while she strips the flesh from someone is not something one likes to hear. They really went for a whole mind fuck with the game instead of pure horror shooter. In ways I like it a lot, in others the classic fear scaring the shit out of me every 5 min was better. It is just a different game in a sense. Solid shooter for sure. |
