Hello everyone. It's been a while to say the least. I hope everyone is fairing well.
Just today I was visiting the site and realized I haven't made a post or sent a message since 2007, and in all honesty I have only visited a few times in that period as well. I guess sometimes time gets away from you when you're drudging through the jungle of life eh? In any case, MIA no longer, I should be around more regularly once more. |

Welcome back my friend, it's great to see a topic with your name on it once again.
Since we are updating our gaming status as well as greeting the legend, I'll go next. To be honest, I have cut back significantly on gaming. I did play Modern Warfare 2 for a bit, but just couldn't break out of mediocrity. Stellar game though. Lately my gaming has been reduced to simply trying out demos from Xbox Live. Bayonetta is fun eye candy, and Just Cause 2 looks impressive. I went through a phase of buying bargain priced titles, but then not finishing them, so I have stopped buying new titles for a while, at least until I complete a few that are gathering dust. Of course Rock Band comes out when we have guests and alcoholic refreshments. My gamertag is Divewire if anyone wishes to add me, but I make no promises on my online availability. I did have some plans to do some reworking of the site, but that hasn't come to fruition yet. I am continually impressed by everyone's dedication to AT. |

I'm very pleased to see so many familiar names and faces around here. I find myself reminded just how resilient and diverse this community is. After catching up on a couple recent posts in Ops, I'm happy to see so much interest in a revitalization, and indeed redirection of AT. On a game related note, I was at a party last weekend and someone was playing a game called Heavy Rain, Has anyone played this title? I was pretty impressed by the graphics and atmosphere the game had going for it. Its a CSI/Detective type title, here's the trailer from youtube. Edit: I see several of you are playing AVP, thoughts on the game? I've been wanting to buy it, but past AVP titles have been well, less than stellar. I would be glad to see this one break that cycle, though. |
