OK so I wanna get online with PSOGC... I need sum advice!
OK, lets sort everything out by sorting out what I have: A GameCube An iMac running OS 9.2 using an external USB ADSL modem The iMac has all the usual iMac ports (2xUSB, 2xFireWire, Ethernet, Modem) BTBroadband as my ADSL ISP Coming soon (obviously) a copy of PSO Ep. I & II Now I need some help and advice as how to get my GC online! My first choice is to get it online using my broadband connection, so I know Ill need a BBA and an Ethernet Crossover cable. But what next? I can't connect the BBA directly to my modem, as it has no Ethernet port... but my computer has... This is making my head hurt! Will it work if i use my iMac's Ethernet port? Or is there no chance of it working simply because I am using an Apple? How do i get it working from there? |

OK my BBA and PSO r here YAY
Anyways im having problems connecting.... With 'choose IP automatically' or whatever i got IP could not be obtained from DHCP or whatever. I did manual and for most attempts i got IP does not exist or something along those lines... After fiddling around for a while, I entered IP ADDRESS: My iMac's IP address (plus one) Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Router: My iMac's IP address And now it connects but I get 'Page not found'.... I cant seem to find a ICS... ive tried turning file sharing, appletalk, opentransport, etc. on and they are all active, except for summin called 'multihoming' which i dont know how to activate... Airport is a ICS right? I have the software however i dont have an Airport card... |
