Here is performance write-up for consoles: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalf...al-gear-solid-5
PS4 on some cutscenes goes down to 30 FPS. Solid 60 FPS for gameplay. A few PC games released in the last year natively support DualShock 4 controller. No need for drivers or special software. Big plus if this game does, and something I want to know. Batman Arkham Knight had both Xbox and PS4 controller support; the button icons would even change depending on what you used (at least they got that right). PC is usually the superior version in terms of performance, and you can use console controllers. So why not? Unless you care about trophies and playing online with friends that also have the game. MGO is released in October for consoles, while on PC according to sources won't be ready until early next year. I have the gtx 980 too. The Witcher 3 at 60 FPS with everything cranked up is amazing. Despite the string of bad ports this year, I am in the camp of "if you have the PC hardware to push these games, get it on PC." -------------------- |
