~it pains me to say this, but me thinks that the "final fantasy" franchise is starting to seriously lose its way.. -.- perhaps its the side of me that still favors the classic-style (ff-2, ff-3/6 & even ff-7) ~ but i'm compelled to say that these recent styles of the offline genre are becoming fluffy & flamboyant.. =.
~one of the critical elements that draws me into an rpg game has to be its visual style, everything from character design to world design & so on; if that element does not "zing" with what i like, then i'll lose interest rather quickly.. |
