I am officially excited about this thing. Not only will the thing be backwards compatiable with gamecube and play DVD's, but you will be able to download every game that has ever been on a Nintendo console. I no longer have to dust off my SNES or N64.

There is also going to be a Gameboy mini. They say about the size of an iPod mini. Nintendo still milking the gameboy. . .

Did you see the conference video they had on IGN? They cover just about everything... Gameboy Micro, Revolution, future games and plans... All the way to Zelda (with new trailer to boot)!
Nintendo DS will be online via wi-fi and all of their first party games will be free. All connected using Gamespy. They're going to have hotspots around the country for you to connect o_0. Of course you can just stay home and use your existing connection.
The video itself is alittle less than an hour but its pretty interesting.
Electroplankton is the shit!

Zelda looks real nice.

I'm going to have to check out the conference video. I just saw the small preview one.

So are these going to be direct ports? I would like to play Goldeneye again, but with the processing power of the new system. I don't want to see updated graphics or the like, just smoother framerates. Goldeneye was one of the best party games but it was mad choppy.

Hate to break it to ya guys, but that list is made up.

http://forums.nintendo.com/nintendo/board/...essage.id=96394

A few posts down will clear it up for you. I'm not saying that most of those games wont end up being on the list, but as of right now there is NO official word on which games will make up the 221 or so.

Yeah, I thought the list was abit fishy, I mean I would think there would be licensing issues with a few of the games too, but not like it makes much of a difference. The games that really matter where published by nintendo so if nintendo does go ahead with this project we will get the goods. I was wondering why I didnt see Paperboy on there too as well. Besides, who wants to play crappy N64 star wars games when you have star fox 64! beigelaugh.gif

Yeah, pretty much the best games from those systems are made by Nintendo anyway haha. I still have my NES, SNES, and N64, but having a revolution and downloading the games I want to play would be a lot more convenient. I wonder how the final list will turn out. I'll always have my SNES around for Chrono Trigger though, that won't change. beigelaugh.gif
