I was going to buy a DS sooner but I might as well wait for the new model to come out.

Pretty sweet. I also got Brain Age for free with a coupon from Best Buy.
I went ahead and picked up the New Super Mario Bros. game. I only played through the first world but its totally fun so far.
Unfortunately this has set me back on getting my MacBook =(

I got my Lite today too, though I scored big with trade ins, and only paid the initial preorder price. I'm glad to be rid of the old ds it was clunky scratched up, and shoulder buttons were bad. I'm digging the better lighting and the larger stylus, I dislike how small the start and select buttons are and moving the power button was good, but the way it works (you slide it up to turn then it goes back to it's original posisition and to turn off you slide it up again) I so seeing it breaking and I don't think it will help with accidental turn offs. Another dislike is that they changed the ac adapter's port when it wasn't needed.

i sense a cave in sooner or later for a DS >.< there's 3 GBA's laying around 1 is mine 2 are alyssa's...she lost her first one (second to last model) and got her a new one then months later found the old one, so sooner or later i'm trading in 2 of those and some games....my mother (who's 56) now even gets addicted to games ..and keeps mentioning "getting a DS for alyssa for christmas" HA she just wants to play it herself, i found out when she's not sleeping at night she breaks out alyssa's GBA ...it's so weird seeing my mother addicted to games lol....this could work to my advantage ninja2.gif

Now that's impressive. Even the lighting is damn near close to the same. For a second there I thought there was some wild and crazy website where people were finding this stuff.

lol @ kazicht.

I also picked up a DSlite on Sunday. Its an improvement in every way on the old design. The vibrance and clarity of the new screen is stunning, and the touch screen doesn't have that weird grainy look to it. The buttons and D-pad are much nicer (no more hand cramps power sliding in Mario Kart!) and of course the bigger stylus is a plus. And it looks sleek as hell!

Now when are they gonna release a white PSP over here so I can have a matching set?
