READ: C-Mode SRANK Options

got my S-Rank tonight, a Sword ( Go me! ), the stats are really crappy but I'm guessing it gets powered up when you use it with other S-Ranks... dunno....


but I've read at POSW and Ragol.com that using an S-Rank will get you banned online, if you repeat a challenge after getting srank you'll get the two shields you get offline (for ARank and BRank) no Rings!

P.S. It is highly suggested for everyone not to get your S-Rank yet until this is resolved.

yeah i was also on the srank team, (myself, dyne, crush and craw) i chose the twin. the ARCANE TWIN

i had a LOAD of grinders stored, plus my friend who is visiting and also plays pso (but not online yet) also hat a crapload of grinders. and i got my twin grinded all the way up to
+187 crazy eh? its giving some pretty nice ATP now.

There was a server maintenance last night at about 11:00 PST. I would venture to guess that this maintenance was to resolve this problem.

SON OF A FUCK!

I just tried to log onto PSO tonight, but I got banned!

My S-rank was banked, and I had gotten online previously with it banked, but I still had the God's Shield SUZKA in my inventory, so apparently that damn item is banned too!

Well...you guys won't see me on PSO till 12:48 am tomorrow I guess . I'll call Sega tech support and see if I can get the ban lifted earlier...

Sorry, Crush, that is so incredibly lame :( . I really thought the whole banned thing was bs after helping HC82 transfer his s-rank yesterday. I wonder if its just on the login that it detects the supposedly illegal items?

Yeah, its only at logon, and only if you're logging onto the US server. You can remove the item from your bank and use it during the game, and ever log off with it, but make sure it's in the bank when you come online.

Reports on PSO-World are that upon completion of Challenge mode some forces are having some technique levels reduced from 30 to 15. Also, players who have used the maximum allowable materials may be effected as well. According to reports, if the bug affects a stat which was increased due to mat usage, the stat will not change, but the player will now be able to use mats on this stat once again.

Example:
if 10 Def mats were used prior to completion of Challenge, and the bug were to affect the players' Def stat, the player could now use 10 (more) Def mats with no penalty.

Well, looks like this is true. I just checked Brynhilde and her level 29 Rabarta is now 15. No other techs were effected however. On a side note, this actually happed to the DC version Bryn with her Resta, allthough I'm not sure if that was related to c-mode or not, I can't remember exactly when it happened.

I am still having a blast with c-mode and won't let all the recent mishaps effect my playing, but still.....could this have been fscked up any more?

Ummm...if anyone could help me scrounge up another high level Rabarta, I would be greatly appreciative.
