Man, I can't wait for this game. I used to be a huge TMNT fan when I was about 14 or so. I remember playing the old TMNT arcade game for hours and hours at the skating rink (that game was the bomb!). Anyways, here are some screens from the new TMNT game that supposed to be hitting all consoles in October. Any thoughts?

Looks like it's being modeled after the current TMNT show, I'm not the biggest fan of the newest attempt at trying to bring back the turtles, although the game it self looks interesting. I loved anything TMNT, and still do. beigelaugh.gif (I still play both arcade games on mame almost every other day)

Well I'm lookin' forward to it, Konami's making it, so I have some hope for it.

buttrock.gif I read that Konami brought back the original directors of the arcade TMNT games for this one, so hopefully it will retain the kickass fun the classics had.

*nods* lol, who wasn't a fan for TMNT.. ;) i remember the series - o'so long ago, that game was lots fun to play back in the hey-day where arcades were the official hangout.. *sigh* the days of youth - haha.. ;p anyways, good link Mute - these images are cosmic; i look forward to seeing the animation - to see how fluid the game shall be.. =.

the character designs look very much like the cartoon - i like the style of the faces, especially Rafael's wicked grin (yah, this was the one i favored..) *ponders* if it's from Konami & developed by the originators of the original series, then i gots faith that the development team shall deliver the goods.. ^.-

This game looks very promising. I still remember the very first TMNT NES game. That one was pretty cool too.

I can't deny that I too was a big TMNT fan. I had just about as much TMNT merchandise that I could get my hands on. I played just about every game they had too. And like all of you I was also a big fan of the arcade. Unfortunatly for me I was damn young and the place where they had it was too far away for me to on my own so I rarely got to play it, but I did have it for SNES so that was good. I just wish this was for 4 players like the arcade, I can't see why it's not.

Well, as long as they don't bring back Krang and Dimension X I'll be happy. Personally I preferred the plotlines of the first 2 movies. I wonder which they'll use... the one from the 1980s, the movies, or the one that's currently airing.

Without that exoskeleton, he's pretty much defenseless. And for sure, keep Rocksteady and Bebop.

Agreed. Leaving out Bebop and Rocksteady in anything related to TMNT is utter blasphemy. I look forward to seeing hordes from the Foot Clan myself. ;) I've read that there is gonna be a pretty intricate cast in this game as well. I've seen screenshots of Casey Jones and Shredder already. I'm also pretty confident that we'll see April O'Neil (gawd... sick how I remember that after all these years) and Splinter as well. I'm sure the enemy boss cast will be stacked nicely.

From the cast list on the cartoon's webpage, Leatherneck and Mondo Gecko are also featured in the cartoon, so maybe they will show up in the game.
