On Marth 10th there will be an update with a new event quest for White Day, and more importantly the activation of Mop Up and Endless Nightmare 1 & 2.
No more of that Heat Sword crap, now we can pump it up with some good quests! I predict we'll all be level 200 by the end of the week. -------------------- |

Whee! i likes EN quests. Perhaps the great number of enemies will yield some of those elusive red boxes. |

That's awesome, you guys might see more of me now! I'm sorry I have not been playing lately but many things have been coming up that I had to take care of but they'll be finished over spring break...but I live in FL, so I probably won't be home very much... I'll try to meet you guys this weekend and a little over spring break if I can.

well, they certainly aren't brilliant... but it's nice to have a bit more choice in game. Quests like these help to break the tedium of 'free adventures.'
Although, basically.. you're doing the same thing. ....but you get a nifty camera angle! .....that makes it difficult to hit things... regardless, variety is the spice of life. Now lets go back to doing challenge mode. |

Ok..so White Day = girls receiving marshmelons (or marshmallows if you prefer ) from guys. Has anyone tried this quest yet to see what you actually get?
My favorite quests from the DC days were Soul Blade & EN4, which I hope will be up before too long, but the recent quests added do make for some quick exp and a good break from the standard game.

The quests are good for rare hunting, thats about it. Aside from the exp it's nothing we haven't done 1000 times in ver1&2.
PSO did need another "twitch" quest online. Just famitsu alone wasn't cutting it. Endless nightmare seabed would be some good fun. Line up those Morfos and sinows, and watch em drop. |

EN in seabed would be great. These other stages are too easy now
There should also be a boss attack mode, where you have to do all 8 bosses in a row, and it should have the time limit and no death rules like famitsu. Each boss TP would take you straight to the next boss, so there's no breaks. -------------------- |

Funny thing is that creating a boss time attack would be very easy for ST to do. One problem is that sometimes there isn't enough content to last you through the month.
I think that an all BOSS time attack would = some MASSIVE exp. Maybe they outta put some sort of exp reduction on the bosses. This way the exp is still good, but not good enough that it's the only quest you'd ever do. Having some sort of ranking time to determine the rares you get would keep people busy. Famitsu was really good, had numerous paths, although it lacked enough goodies to keep you playing. Also the numerous paths were cool for rare hunting, but really didn't become more intense, just more cheasy(Megid flower boss, more Baranz). ST needs to follow this rule: Many Unique rares+ Intense quest + Collecting tokens/tickets = HappyPSOer Keeps you busy, the quest is intense so you get good exp and rares, also you can collect cool rares in the process, which are unique to that quest. Like the EN quests...if they perhaps had some hidden tokens in the quest, which you could turn in for cool rares, people would be playing it often. Also the time finished, deaths, and kills would add up to more tokens. Of course they would have to offer something semi decent, and more then just one rare, so people would do these quests more often. Ver2 did this pretty well, but the US gamers got screwed out of alot of quests. |
