Now I know that not many of you are too big on religion, but I thought I'd share this with everyone anyway.
Not long ago today, I have just accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into my heart and into my life, and man does it feel good! If you have faith in the Lord, he'll always have your back. -------------------- "Computers are incredibly fast, accurate and stupid. Human beings are incredibly slow, inaccurate and brilliant. A little religion is always good to have. So I hope you find the peace you are looking for.

Hmm... yeah... definitely not my cup o' tea, either. :|
Out of respect for those involved, I'll just leave it at that. |

~one's angel is another's devil.. =. religion i do not acknowledge, only faith ~ but i also know that beings have their personal views of the beyond...imagine a beautiful spherical jewel of infinite facets; each facet is a unique belief particular to that facet ~ at its edge, there are infinite views, but ultimately ~ all views shall reach the source, all views shall meld as one supreme source of all wisdom.. =.
~such is our journey, to ultimately return home to the source of all things ~ the awesome sight that flows from it, life everlasting & knowledge of all.. ^^ ~be mindful, considerate & steadfast Mr. D - more power to you if you are ruled by the scattered teachings of a visionary long since past, but also know that practice of faith is best left a personal affair.. |

DarkEpyon, that's quite a statement there.
Personally I have no need for religion in any form, however I am curious as to what conspired to lead you on this path. To me it sounds like it was a very sudden decision. Thanks for sharing this with us. |

You've all touched base with one of the greatest gifts we've been endowed with - our free will. I myself was brought up Christian, yet up until this past Sunday, my family and I hadn't attended a church together since 1987. I must say, I had been looking forward to it all week. When I decided to accept Jesus, that was of my free will to do so.
Maybe the religion thing didn't work out for some folks growing up, or they were never exposed to it that much in their earlier years. That of course is something that's between the individual and God, or Yevon, or Ajora or whatever entity that person may believe in. As I'm sure most of you are aware, the past year has been an extremely turbulant year for my family and me. First my grandfather passing last December and then my grandmother. I take comfort in the strong belief that they are both in a much better place. Taking the Lord into my life did have a very large effect on my life and has brought joy into it, and was just something I wanted to share with the rest of you. -------------------- "Computers are incredibly fast, accurate and stupid.
