If you're picking up MW2 at Gamestop, they have a special trade in thing going where you $40 credit for trading in two qualifying games from this list.
I'm not one to really trade in game, but this isn't too bad compared to what you usually get from Gamestop. -------------------- |

I'm so glad I'm not taking any classes this semester. Else I'm sure I'd be fucking up a few of them. Also, Night vision goggles work surprising well.

Alright, just wrapped up the campaign a few minutes ago. What a roller coast ride, its almost too intense when you're playing, a little overwhelming! I think I made a mistake picking "hardened" difficulty my first time through tough, the challenge is a lot higher in MW2 compared to COD4, and I got a bit frustrated at some parts when I'd rather just be taking in the chaos/action. I'd suggest playing it through on regular the first time just to spare yourself.
Did anyone else get an MGS4 vibe at the end when Price and Shepherd were duking it out? Two dudes with boss moustaches CQCing each other to the death! And that whole end bit where you're crawling to the revolver and he kicks it away, then you PULL THE DAMN KNIFE OUT OF YOUR OWN HEART! SHIIIIII! I'd have to say I had high expectations for MW2, and so far its exceeded all of them. The campaign blows the original out of the water, and theres dozens and dozens of small changes to multiplayer that have really made dramatic changes to how you play. The competitive multi mode feels a lot more balanced now, with things like drop packages, death streaks, customized killstreaks/hardline, and support weapons leveling the playing field. -------------------- |

I just finished the game and here's a question: What happened to Makarov?
Did I miss something? Did anyone else get an MGS4 vibe... Like old times? -------------------- |

Pretty sure they set him up to be the badguy in Modern Warfare 3: Philanthropy.

yeah personally, I'm a little pissed off. Since you don't find out what happens to Makarov an enemy you truly learn to hate and what the fuck happens to you as the American solider Ramirez. It feels like there wasn't any real closure in the game and it just ends.

Lets get some tactics together and throw down in Search and Destroy mode tomorrow.
What builds have you guys found to be effective so far? I was working on a stealth setup today and was kicking some crazy ass with this: P90 - silenced G18 Scavenger Cold-blooded Commando Pro I swapped out Commando for Ninja to level it up, but with cold blooded you can be completely safe from UAVs and any support weapons, its crazy haha. I was working with the radar scrambler before but it didn't really help as much as cold-blooded did, and if anything it lets them know you're nearby. Gotta get ninja to Pro and see if the silent movement is worth having it on instead of commando. What's a good combo for sniping? I'm using scavenger/stopping power/commando currently, with the intervention. Trying to get it to ACOG. But not having much luck :( -------------------- |

I use ninja on my sniper and stealth class. I think it's a good perk since cold blooded doesn't stop you from being detected on heartbeat sensors. Here's my sniper build.
Barrett .50 Cal or Intervention. Bling perk, Thermal Scope and Full Metal Jacket Stopping power Pro Ninja Claymores or tactical insertion for equipment and smoke for special Grenade. Managed to get off my first Tactical nuke with this class. -------------------- "Brotherhood asked for no friendship, only loyalty.
