PSOBB Episode IV Retail at PlayAsia

Yea I know, maybe only one or two people here may get this, however PSO is part of our heritage and this release deserves some recognition.

Spring 2005 for the supposed US release. A pity I can only get on the Japanese once for every 10 attempts.

If they had any sense, they'd make it for a console, then more of us (me especially), would probably get into it. I just cant get used to playing PSO on a pc for some reason.

I'm liking how they threw in the Heaven's Punisher considering the special wasn't that great but the power itself was the best of the handgun class. Overall the box art is cool, but I am still wondering if I will have the time to get this and play it and how long it will take before people start cheating like crazy.

That cover art single-handedly makes RAmars attractive again.

whoa. That cover art is cool!
I am with Azreal on this one. I can't play PSO on the computer either (I played the demo on my work PC). It was weird clicking and holding the mouse to move. The console controller was much more comfortable for me. That said, if they made a Mac version, I'd buy it. I 've seen the screenshots of the new levels / monsters / wepons. They look cool as hell.

side note - I did a mines run just last night. beigesmile.gif

The only way to play PSO is with a controller, and I would recommend the PS2 Controller USB Adapter. Works like a charm, and who doesn't have a PS2 controller lying around?

Heh, yeah actually I bought a usb controller at EB a long time ago that I used to play FFXI. It does work really well. The only difference is that the buttons are not marked by a triangle, square, circle, or X, instead they are just numbered in order. beigerolleyes.gif It is a fairly good controller that was only $20 I think. It would probably be better just to order that converter though because you have to wait to get the game anyway unless you need to play something else.

That's what I use myself for all my ROMs. Works oh-so-beautifully.
