This is the piece I alluded to in the Rinn-CG thread. I would have finished it sooner, but I was side-tracked by the Syfte pic. The FOmarl in the pic is supposed to be Ether's character, Seven. In game, Seven is not nearly so mature looking... so Ether and I decided she's a bit more grown up in this pic. Seventeen, perhaps? ;p And yes... I know Dolmolms are supposed to have green blood. The unlucky specimen in this pic was a rare purple-blooded breed, ok? >.>;;
Like the Rinn-CG pic, the black&white line art comes from the same Eternity PSO manga. Color, CG, and effects courtesy of your's truly. The background is a hodge-podge of PSO screen shots, random CG from the net, and original illustration. The links below show some of the steps along the way from the original line art to the finished CG. You should definitely click that last link, since it shows a much larger and detailed portait of Seven. Original line art Base color Face and hair shaded Arms and legs shaded Starting on shading the dress Finished shading the dress and sword. Final CG Hope ya enjoy. ^-^; |

How to unseal the J-Sword (FOmarl only, as they are the true master tanks of PSO)
Step 1: Go to the seaside of Gal Da Val island, carrying a Sealed J-Sword. It must be seaside at daytime, because that is the home of the sword, and the home of the mini-boss that drops it, Gi-Gue Step 2: Stand in the water for ten years. To do this you will need to learn to survive only on fish and salt water Step 3: Equip the J-Sword. To do this, you will need a God/Equip unit, uber-rare, dropped only by Redria baby Hildetorr (Forest of Sorrow) Step 4: After Equipping the J-Sword and standing around for ten years, the mist from the ocean should have loosened the sheath enough so that you can easily slide the sword out from it. Make sure it is night-time! Step 5: After pulling the sword out, it will summon the guardian of the sword, which is an uber rare D-Cellular Dolmolm mini-boss. He only appears at night, because there is already a mini-boss for Seaside daytime. If you pull the sword out during the day, his tentacle will appear from the sheath, and grab the sword and jam it back into the sheath. He'll then say, "Try again in 10 years and 12 hours" Step 6: Use your acquired J-Sword to kill the Dolmolm, and you're earned yourself the ultimate weapon! Above is a screenshot (PSO Episode 7) of myself completing this amazing task! Err, great pic Rinn =P |

That tentacle and blood effect came out pretty good, 'Rinn. Another masterpiece by our own CG artist extraordinaire. Btw, *looks at Agito* looks like God/Equip made it to the GameCube afterall. -.-;;

Thanks, guys. I always appreciate the comments and feedback. =)
BTW, Crush... not all FOmarls have hats: Here's an example and Mute, I'm pretty sure FOmarls can equip the Agito, but not the 1975 model or the Orotiagito. |

Great stuff 'Rinn. But since the squid is an a.beast, shouldn't the blood be green?

In DC PSO FOmarls could equip any Agito regardless of the year. So long as you did not convert your 1975 into an Oroti.
I am unsure if this carried over into the GC version. But i don't see why it wouldn't. |

I guess if they can equip an Inferno Bazooka, why not be able to equip an Agito as well right? I've never seen a FOmarl equip one... I'm curious to see her animations as she swings it.

Equip an Akiko's Pan and you'll have your Agito animation.
