Spawn's bio just simply restates his origin (Al Simmons, gov't assassin, yadda yadda we all know about spawn). The reason why he's in SC2 is because Malebolgia (his boss in Hell) requires the Soul Calibur for some evil purposes, so he sends Spawn back in time to get it. Since there's now ay to get back to the present, Spawn must complete the mission or be stuck in SC2-world forever. After you beat Inferno, Spawn grasps the Soul Edge, but realizes its corrupting power and says something like "Hah what kind of a fool do you take me for, Malebolgia?", and then he is transported back to the modern world, but he doesn't have the sword with him. I dunno if it means Malebolgia took it or what...but that's his story in a nutshell. -------------------- |

I finally picked up this game today and finally saw what I've been missing out on for so long. A very impressive game indeed. So far my fave characters are Nightmare and Cervantes. Haven't tried everyone yet.
