It's all about Monster Hunter for me, but I also can't wait to play Gran Turismo 4. Lots of great looking games coming out soon.
What about you?
At one point monster hunter didn't catch my interest much. After seeing more about it and how it works, my interest has been aroused. Right now I'm looking forward to Star Ocean 3 on the PS2. I'll have to work my way through that till MH comes out.
It's all about Halo 2 for me, but Fable, Ghost Recon 2, KOTOR 2 and Mortal Kombat: Deception are also high on my list...
Monster Hunter is definately up there. However, I'm also looking forward to ESPN NHL 2K5 and Star Wars Battlefront. I'll definately be buying NHL 2K5 as soon as it comes out (Sept 1) but I'll likely just rent Battlefront since it's released on the same day as MH. Battlefront looks pretty tasty since I used to be a pretty big fan of the Star Wars universe. I'd like to see how it controls and runs on the PS2 before I even consider purchasing it.
I'm kind of picky when it comes to games because i work in a store that sells video games, and i constantly listen to moronic reviews, hype, and opinions, so it typically ruins a lot of games for me. (keep this in mind if you ever decide to work at a store that primarilly video games)
But i guess on the list atm, my interest peaks itself most towards MGS3
Dukes of Hazzard... no really, well i voted Fable but somehow it's still at 0 votes,oh well.Monster Hunter is numero 2 on that list and Halo 2 of course in November.
I'm heavily anticipating Halo 2, MGS3, Fable, Ace Combat 5, Paper Mario 2, KOTOR 2, Metroid Prime 2, Gradius V, Half Life 2... Augh so many games.
But I had to give Halo 2 the nod. My frothing demand for it increases!
Rez. Evil 4! Oh man thinking about it makes me want to touch myself.
I'm such an action horror freak.

I had to go with Metroid Prime 2. Halo is cool and all but thats about the only game I like for xbox and thats not enough for me to buy one. Also might get Monster Hunter but also looking forward to Kingdom Hearts II at the end of the year.

Doom 3.
I was playing the ghetto SNES version and I thought of it. *sniff*
*Edit* I take back my vote, I'm such a dummy, I didn't realize it's already out.
This is what happens when you're denied net access for weeks!
For me it's a toss-up between Monster Hunter, Fable, and FFXII. I want all three of them.
Stare Ocean 3, but it's release is a few days away and this poll will be around longer, so I choose FFXII instead.
Star Ocean 3 was my most anticipated..but it's almost out. SO I'd have to say Guardian Heroes Advance. *drool*
Unfortunaetly Armored Core Nexus was delayed to October.....
So that is my most anticpated game. But after that comes Gran Turismo 4
What is the release date for Metroid Prime anyway? I keep seeing commercials and stuff on it on tv but they just say coming soon. They also show Baton Kaitos commercials which looked kinda interesting.

Release date for Metroid Prime 2 is November 15th. And Baten Kaitos looks pretty damned sweet. The battle system looks a bit funky though. You use cards to determine what kind of attacks you make. Heres a quote from IGN I just stole:
QUOTE |
An original roleplaying game for Nintendo GameCube from the team behind Xenosaga. The game makes heavy use of cards for everything from fighting battles to purchasing items. Cards are actually a central part of the story as well, as they are holders for "Magnus" which is short for "Magna Essence." Magnus is the true nature of all things throughout the world, including swords, magic spells and even apples that are gathered in the town in which your adventures start out. A real item can be turned into Magnus form and stored in a blank card. It can then be taken out from the card and will turn back into real form. Features detailed CG cutscenes to tell the story and turn-based battle sequences. |
Does everything have to be a card battle these days? Oy. . .

I doubt pokemon has anything to do with games moving to the card-battle trend.
I totally blame Yugioh though.
