I know we haven't had any political talk on this board yet (aside from confirming Sarah Palin as a cougar and MILF.)

But I'm happy Obama won, I was afraid America might make the same mistake 3 times in a row, but we got it right this time.

AT thoughts?

this may sound really lame on my part,but after he won throughout the night i began to get teary eyed. until eventually i just started crying around 3am and i dont really know why.


also i've been seeing this around the internet

I know what you mean. Being a Washington D.C. native I never seen so many people happy in this area before. You go down some streets of D.C. and you can still see the damage left over from when the city was destroyed during riots after the death of MLK. Now 40 years later there are were people of all races filling those same streets, dancing, hugging strangers, and crying with tears of joy.
