Do you know if Vent is OSX friendly?
If so, could I hook up with my PC friends? -------------------- |

I'm sure there are Mac versions of Vent online. But the input/Output settings are different. I think Kazichit may be able to help you with that, since i remember he got on Vent with us one evening when we first tested it out.
Edit: Heres a link to Mac OSX client download, http://www.ventrilo.com/news.php?article=mac-232prototype9 -------------------- "Brotherhood asked for no friendship, only loyalty. With a little but of server tweaking we can get mac clients to work. We'll have a vent setup and troubleshooting discussion when we have our aim meeting. I'll post up an information and setup topic when I get home this evening.

Aye, the OS X client works just fine and can connect with PC client users. The only thing was at the time we needed to choose a differnt defult codec, differnt from the PC default. After some messing around we did get it to work, but some of the members sounded bad with static problems. I'm sure with a little more tweeking it'll work out though. |

After alot of weirdness (mostly on my part) I was able to get Vent running on my Mac. There is no help online from Vent and there is no help in the software either so I was mainly just flippin' switches to see what worked. I could hear everyone just fine, but I couldn't talk. I figured out that I need to switch a Sound Control Panel to the right input setting.
My only concern was that it seemed to go dead quiet often. So, I think I was missing out on some conversations. I wasn't seeing the speaker icons go green, so it didn't "look" like anyone was talking, but it just seemed like it was too quiet for too long. The quality was amazing, however. You guys sounded like we were in the same room. It was better than my land phone. Is there a setting to take down the quality and therefor, maybe, improve speed? I could see a selection for outgoing, but not for incoming. Voice chat is the wave of the future! I can't wait to swear!!!! After my mom goes to bed, that is. -------------------- |

Now with PSU out, hope to make myself more of presence than I did on PSO (The Bouncer was my main guy among tons of other chars. >_>) Anyway lookin forward to much excitement.

Word on the street is that the game doesn't even have a game key printed anywhere, and that you don't need one to sign up.

yea, it works like psobb infact you have to go through the psobb payment site for psu, even though I can't get the game till tomorrow I did buy the 180 day license, the 180 day license is 49.99 and you get the first month free (210 days) then it gets billed for 180 days and a 9.99 monthly license and you only get 15 days free with that.
