Aaaaand several months later, the game is out TOMORROW! Kaz mentioned it, so I know he's in, who else is getting the game? I'm crazy excited for this game, and I can't wait to dive in to the franchise again. IT'S TIME TO SLAY THE RATHALOS.

Just picked up the CCPRO Bundle and gonna be on tonight. HC82 is getting the game also, and Adiamas (if you guys remember him). Looking forward to hooking up with AT again for some hunting!

Didn't get a chance to play much since I got stuck at work late, but I did finish the tutorial missions. I really like the new weapon attacks they added, especially for Great Sword (always been a GS fan). I'm looking forward to trying out the new Switch Axe too. Hopefully I'll get myself some decent armor and upgrades then head online asap.

Yeah, this game is pretty badass. Played a long session with D last night. Some quick notes:

• We noticed the monsters really come after you if you're using an item. I haven't noticed this before but its more apparent here than in the first game. Needless to say, one of the most intense moments in battle were when we were trying to use a potion only to have a monster come and body blow you, taking off a huge chunk of your health.
• UNDERWATER battles! I've seen pictures and video clips but that didn't prepare us on how freaking awesome it was actually playing it. Swimming is a bit awkward with both control options (using the camera or using the triggers). I don't have the pro controller so its even more awkward to play.
• Harvest/Mining points are random now and they disappear when you harvested/mined everything.
• Graphics are pretty damn good. Lighting is done really well. The environment graphics are done extremely well. One area reminded me of the seaside areas in PSO.
• Online play is pretty smooth.
• Online communication is not. Chatting is pretty standard but you only have a certain amount of characters you can type. Which isn't a big deal since we've dealt with PSO but the amount of characters you can type here is way more limited than PSO. I think you can only type one line at a time.
• Sending friend requests is a bit confusing also. As far as I know, you have to send them a message AND attach a friend request to it.
• There are NO friend codes to deal with. You're given a unique ID when you first jump online. It's separate from your screen name so no worries.
• Despite all that, I think its one of the most fleshed out online systems on the Wii. Way better than Smash Bros.
• Oh yeah, you can send off boats to fish for you and you can get Felyne's to farm and grow herbs and mushrooms for you.

I hear this game is great. But, I'm going skip this one because I want to pick 3D Dot Game Heroes in a couple weeks.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the Wii anymore. However, the reason you own one is to play these exclusive games like this. You also have to give props to Nintendo for their game schedule this year. Around this time of year there is usually a big game drought on consoles. But on Wii you have Monster Hunter this month, Super Mario Galaxy 2 next month. Then in June you have Metroid, Sin & Punishment 2, and Arc Rising Fantasia in June. If you are a Wii owner you have to be excited right now. I know I'm going to be playing mostly Wii this summer.

Okay, I'm ready to start beasting on this game with you doods. After donkey gave me some brotips on how to make my wii games stop looking like shit, I've been really getting into it. I'm now on 3 star missions offline. About to hunt my first Qurupeco, totally loving underwater combat, got a full set of Jaggi gear, and a whole gang of Mats. Mega Nutrients, Mega Potions, Well done steak, Ancient potions. What's the designated AT server?

There's no designated server but I always choose Rookie > Fresh 1 > City Gate 40.
I usually make a game in City 35 & 36 if I'm teaming up with the others.

I won't be able to play this weekend since I'm going out of town so that should give you enough time to get up to speed. Also, this gives me a break from fighting Barroth all the time

Gobul is a bitch. My play times are pretty erratic but you can usually expect to spot me online 1-4 AM EST.

I think I'm getting more and more interested in this game the more videos I watch. I hear the online is really good. And the Black Classic Controller Pro is sexy.

My connection has been mostly fine through wifi. I've gotten disconnected at times but its not frequent enough to say its bad.
At least lag isn't as bad as Smash Bros. Brawl.

My internet was down for like a whole month. I've had this game for like 3+ weeks already, wearing caedeus gear now. My HR rank is garbage though, since I just logged on yesterday for the first time.
