Looks like it's gonna be good. I'd always wondered how Bruce Wayne became Batman.

It does look like it will be a good movie. On a side note I saw Regal Cinemas down here awhile ago put up the poster for it and they had a stand up for the Fantastic Four movie that is also coming out this summer. spinning.gif Hopefully this one will be better than the last.

They should've brought back Keaton from the first two.

You can't be serious. Keaton sucked as Bruce Wayne. This will be the best Batman movie if not the best comic book movie yet.

I just thought he did better than Kilmer and Clooney is all. Though I haven't seea anything of Christian Bale's, he may very well blow the other three modern Batmen out of the water.

Better yet... ADAM WEST! beigelaugh.gif

Go rent Equilibrium and see that the directors casting choice was dead on.

Christian Bale is actually a very good actor.
Go rent American Psycho.
Hell, go rent Velvet Goldmine.
He's going to be great as Batman.

I don't know much about this story line in the Batman universe. It sounded kinda Dark Knight to me. Is it? and is it even more Dark-er Knight-ier?

Here is a rough synopsis from IMDB.
QUOTE

As a witness to the murder of his parents, a young Bruce Wayne dedicates his life to avenging their deaths. But when an early bid for revenge is foiled, he flees to the East for counsel from the mystifying Ra's Al-Ghul (Watanabe). Fit for a return to the decaying Gotham City, Wayne heads underground with Lucius Fox (Freeman), an old family ally who helps him embrace his new persona: Batman. With a detective's intuition and a millionaire's resources, the master crime-fighter squares off against two of Gotham's biggest threats, unaware that a sinister, knowing enemy plots against him.

It's similiar to the Batman Year One series written by Frank Miller and illustrated by David Mazzucchelli. Frank Miller also wrote the breakthrough series The Dark Knight Returns, and also the upcoming adaptaion of Sin City.
