I know we haven't had any political talk on this board yet (aside from confirming Sarah Palin as a cougar and MILF.)
But I'm happy Obama won, I was afraid America might make the same mistake 3 times in a row, but we got it right this time. AT thoughts? -------------------- |

Yeah, it made me pretty happy too. I'm glad I could vote in this historical election. Time to clean up the mess that the stupid cowboy made. The only thing I'm disappointed in is all the anti-gay propositions that went through (that shouldn't even have been propositions), and the still low percentage of young voters. Gay couples can no longer get married in California, or Arizona. I forgot what state it was, but gay couples there cannot adopt a child together. What right do 3+ million STRAIGHT people have voting on telling gay people what they can do?
A black president doesn't mean we're a country free of bigotry. America still makes me sick sometimes. -------------------- dueling, remade for modern audiences |
