Halo 2 launches in just a few days and I wanted to get a show of hands on who will be getting it. The main reason I ask is because Halo 2 and http://www.bungie.net/ will incorporate a massive stat tracking database complete with Clan Support. I wasn't sure I would be getting Halo 2 until I heard of this feature. Who among you does not want to see AT's name on the leaderboard? I will personaly look into and set up AT's clan info as soon as I can. Do you have what it takes to carry Apocalypse Tribe to the top of the rankings? I know we have some great FPS players here, as well as the fact that AT was originally a FPS clan back when Woe started it all. Wouldn't it be great to honor that legacy by becoming one of the top rated Clans in Halo 2?

Gonna try to get down and be a part of the Halo 2 crew. I dunno if i'll be on it at day one. I've been working even more lately(teaching highschool students and doing private tutoring), so I'll have to make up a fixed schedule first.

Tanshin i don't think you need to be in the Operations of AT to join us in Halo,we would love to have you play with us.

Yes,i'll have the game early thuesday morning,of course i'll play the single player a lot at first but i'll be online in the evening to check all the cool stuff you can do online with this game...i also posted something similar at VM and a few might join in also...let's hope we have enough people to get something going...we can even have our own clan/guild logo it seems with Bungie.net...check this out:

I sadly will not be joining you all. Too bad my Xbox is modded and I can't play online. It really sucks that those guys at microsoft that setup Live are so smart and they block the MAC addresses of modded boxes. Ironicly my box was modded by a person that is employed by microsoft and worked in the xbox live group at the time.

ill probably be getting halo 2 at launch but since its not my xbox at school.. i cant go online,.... not like it matters much i suck at fps's but wish ya guys the best of luck im sure its gonna be pretty tough to get up to the top of those rankings...

Contrary to popular belief, I can actually play Halo marginally well.

If I ever do get my xbox fixed, I'd love to be counted, but at the moment I'm getting all my funds so I can buy myself alienware so I can play FFXI without sharing the PC with my sibs. Just as well, I've never been on XBL, so I have to get myself some necessary items as well as an unbroken xbox.

So I guess this is more of a support post. Kick some ass, guys.

Well it really depends if my friend wants to hook up his xbox at my house or not. He is a COMPLETE Halo FREAK! He is going out midnight tonight and staying up all night on a school night then is packing his xbox up to my house since I don't have one. If we decide to hook it up online I may be there but I'm really not sure as of yet. If this were to come out for pc then I would probably be there.

I didn't pre order so I am not sure if I can actually get ahold of the game day one, but I am going to do my best.
I also do not have a LIVE account, but I have been wanting to get one for ages and this is just the push I need to get it done.

btw - When MechAssault 2 comes out. AT CLAN WILL RULE ALL!

I just got my "call" from GameStop saying it goes on sale at midnight - I won't be thre quite that early to pick it up tho. I will have to get Live as well, but like others I've been wanting it for a bit, now I have a real reason. =)

Damn the EB i pre-ordered called me and said they will open from midnight to 3 in the morning so i could pick it up at midnight,lol...i'm tempted but i think i'll wait till tomorrow morning since i have the day off.

I love the fact that AT is getting involved in an FPS (even if it is Halo >>) but, unfortunately, I don't have an XBox nor do I have the room for another system. Not to mention I just shelled out a decent amount of money for a new PC. :D

(FPS with controller is just ugh anyhow, to quote a friend of mine "playing a FPS with a controller is like using aluminum made condoms")


Tho, perhaps they'll have some sort of interactivity between the XBox and PC versions. If so, I'll definately pick up the PC version of this down the road to join up with you guys.

Those symbols Riel, are also in game. When you setup your personal player colors and settings, you get to choose from them to show up on your shoulder pads.

This is so cool, even though we haven't had a match together yet, everyone can keep watch on the other players stats.

http://www.bungie.net/Stats/ClanMembers.aspx?clan=ApocalypseTribe and you can select one of the clan members to see how they are doing. It updates the stats in real time, so as soon as one of us is finished with a match, it will show up there.

There is a way for at least 4 of us to create and keep the same party throughout all of our matches. I have been scouting out the Team Skirmish maps tonight and have a pretty good idea on where to go and what to do. So many times the match was fucked up by lamers not going for the objective and just screwing around. I know if we were in a team, we would own.

Let's try and join up tomorrow night.

An old friend of mine, and one of the Original AT members from the Q3A days is rejoining the ranks of the Tribe to fight alongside us inour Halo endevors, Welcome Alfiej, also known as Pharoah to some of the more oldschool peeps. some of you most likely met him on PSO.

Xbox and Halo 2 GET!

I'm currently offline, maybe until next weekend. But I'll be using that 2 free month deal that comes w/ Halo as soon as I can get myself used to FPS again... I haven't really played one seriously since Goldeneye (n64). Anyway, I'll post my tag and stuff soon as I'm all signed up and ready to go.

I ordered it from EBgames on friday. Right now the order is still sitting there and hasn't been shipped out yet. I doubt it will be shipped out intill monday. Hopefully they don't pull any bullshit on me which causes delays.

Well, I just got an Xbox for Christmas, and I went out and baught halo2 shortly after.
Only thing is I don't have Live yet, as I'm still waiting to get off this damn 56k. -.-

Everything shipped out yesterday. So, I should be good to go by tommorow or thursday, but most likely on thursday.

PS: I ordered the strategy guide for Halo2 and I was thinking of scanning the maps and posting them up or emailing them out for all Halo2 ATers to use.

That is a great idea HC. I have the guide too, but no way to scan the maps. I think if we could use those as a base for laying out our strategies we'll have a lot easier time coordinating offensive plans.

This pretty much only concerns HC, Crush, and Kaz. Are you guys going to be playing Halo 2 tonight? If not I might play WoW but it depends. I have a 4 day weekend too so we could work something out. We should probably start thinking of strategies for Team Skirmish and Big Team Battle (for when we get more than 4 people) for CTF Fast or normal CTF or whatever.

Any good strats you know for ctf fast on zanzibar would help us out a lot. We always fall apart on that one.
