Well, the game certainly looks really good. FF13 left an odd taste in my mouth.
Final Fantasy 13 is sort of like drinking an expensive wine that's touted as being of fine quality and having an exquisitely refined taste. Then when you drink it, there is a hint of rot in the flavor. You seem confused at first. "Am I not getting it? Is there something sophisticated and robust about this flavor I don't understand?" Everyone around you continues to sip with delight, but you can't help but notice that the flavor is off. Eventually you fool yourself into thinking it's refined and cultured, when in fact it's on the verge of spoiling. That's FF13. |
