I am going to wait a few days or weeks to see if the PC port is not messed up. I was one of the ones that got burned on Batman Arkham Knight for PC (I got it 34% off on greenman gaming so I could not get a steam refund). Was going to pass on this game because of the whole Konami business (not the whole Kojima, but canceling games and shitting on Castlevania). However, I read some early spoilers and reviews and got hyped as fuck. Hopefully people buy this game so it makes up its insane budget. Maybe we can continue to have Konami franchises in the future, you know.

Ground zeroes seems like a decent port, I think it bodes well for TPP.
But yeah no reason to get burned on bad PC ports. At least you got steam refunds right? -------------------- |

Here is performance write-up for consoles: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalf...al-gear-solid-5
PS4 on some cutscenes goes down to 30 FPS. Solid 60 FPS for gameplay. A few PC games released in the last year natively support DualShock 4 controller. No need for drivers or special software. Big plus if this game does, and something I want to know. Batman Arkham Knight had both Xbox and PS4 controller support; the button icons would even change depending on what you used (at least they got that right). PC is usually the superior version in terms of performance, and you can use console controllers. So why not? Unless you care about trophies and playing online with friends that also have the game. MGO is released in October for consoles, while on PC according to sources won't be ready until early next year. I have the gtx 980 too. The Witcher 3 at 60 FPS with everything cranked up is amazing. Despite the string of bad ports this year, I am in the camp of "if you have the PC hardware to push these games, get it on PC." -------------------- |

Konami trolled PC players, the retail PC version is just a disc with a steam installer. So anyone who wanted to go out and buy a physical copy and avoid the download got screwed, esp in places with limited or costly internet, such as Australia.
