The trilogy was ment to include PSO+ and PSO EP3. I believe it is already released, but in Japan only. This is different than the "Blue Burst" game...which is new.

Was the US ever going to get a PSO+ release? For some reason I doubt it...

Heh, this could possibly look cool. On the site you posted Kyori it looks like to me in the picture it says 4/5 which might mean episodes 4 and 5.

You should NEVER joke about something that would be as cool as this.

I think the only new PSO expansion we can realistically hope for, would be a PSO ep3 card battle expansion set.

Outside of that, it was stated that there are no plans for anymore new PSO expansions. If anything, it's about time they make a PSO 2.

After the release of PSO ep3 in japan, I've read somewhere that PSO 2 is under devolpement. It suppose to be in a totally different gameplay and story. Blue Burst is probably the PC version of PSO ep and 2. Lol. But the april fool joke sounds sooo cool. If it does happen it would be more fun then FFXI IMO.

Well, here we are at April 5. As expected, their site has gone up.
Here's what I was able to discern from it.

- Server-side saving, and something called a "team system" (Perhaps this will work like guilds/linkshells in MMORPG's).

- Looks like they're having game masters, a la FFXI and other MMORPGs.

I don't see this joker coming out here in the States anytime soon. Anyone here sign up for the beta? I sure as hell didnt.

also, I am reading thiings about this Blue Burst being a PC version of PSO 1 and 2. It seems that SEGA never release V.2 to the PC. So, that's what this is.
Nothing new for us GC kids. Sorry folks.

I pieced all of this thru going to http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and copy and pasting the japanese URL into the box and hitting go.

Those pigs look like a cross between a wild boar, a hildetorr and some other craziness. I like it I like it!

I need to hear of at least 4 new areas before I would consider getting this same style of game again (not to mention how many people here and at TA will actually buy this game as well).

Doesn't seem like a bad start so far though.

Another thought - I just hope those monsters Donkey showed us aren't the ultimate versions of the e2 monsters we all know and love to hate. Also, if this doesn't turn out to be another "Nihon-dake" (Japan only) release, we won't need the services of Layrinn, aka "SeƱor Teclado" (Spanish for "Mr. Keyboard") to churn out adaptors.

... and speaking of which. I always thought it was weird of them (lazy?) not to have made ULT versions of EP2 monsters.
...and speaking of EP2. It's a shame that they dropped the exp points per monster in EP2. It almost made it not worth it.

That one new area look pretty cool though. I wonder where that huge hole in the ground goes to?
Not so found of the new pig nosed thing. I do like the other one though.

The pigs look like they could be replacements for the gibbons. The four-legged fellow looks too much like an a.beast to serve as a delbiter replacement.
