Apocalypse Tribe HQ _ Phantasy Star _ S-RANK GET!!!

I think this deserves its own thread. Completing Episode II Challenge Mode is quite an accomplishment for me. Heck, its a major one since I rarely find a cooperative team (for Ep.II C-mode). Another reason has to be that we went through it with little problems (more or less). Sure, we died here and there, pressed a couple of wrong switches, rushed into things too fast but we managed. Only place we actually got lost on was C3. But then, 'cept for C4, most of the stages were pretty straight foward

Anyway, I would like to thank that Japanese guy who healed us & and supported us(and died in the process in some occasions), AC9 for gettin' us through C4 with little worry, Bilix, Chubs (though she doesn't play PSO anymore due to FFXI) and Forever Zero though she hasn't finished Ep.II C-mode yet.

Me with S-Rank Swords (Musashi), Bilix with S-Rank Cards, & AC9Breaker with S-Rank Bazooka.

S-Rank Swords' stats. It has more ATA than Yamato but a bit weaker.

Oh right, another thing. I haven't gotten through the challenge again for the A & B rank prizes.
But from what I hear you get to choose from Hunter, Ranger, or Force Field for B Rank and Yellow Ring for A Rank.

Aiming for that 2nd S-Rank tonight.
Katana or the Scythe. hehehe.

I don't like the SWORDS, although the ones I have are hacked, and I've had them for months now, I still don't like them too much. They are weak, and if you add gush to them, they are no better than Sange&Yasha. This is sad...

The cards are neat o.O

Also, with more hacks -_- I was able to test, for myself, some other http://img12.photobucket.com/albums/v31/Snapshots/Inventory/snapshot_270104_150636.png, months ago, and its sad that the Bazooka isn't FOmarl capable DX

COngrats on legit S ranks, though. Naming them what you want is far better than something stupid like IL_JE NEEDLE <.<

Oh, and pleasepleaseplease take me with you on your second C mode run DXDX I want scythe so bad!

Woot! Bazooka > j00. I named it TETRA BAZOOKA but after doing a lot of thinking I wish I would have named it Joe Bazooka. Would have gone well with my HURRI CANE.

Well I do have to say, one of the biggest challenges of this challenge was getting a stable party. Lots of thanks to those who helped us and those who still need to finish.

Lots of laughs and a few frustrating moments, and tons of heartracing moments. I still recall the moment as if it where engraved in my brain.... 2 hunters running around trying to dodge falling object while the force is frantically scurring over to them to restore their nearly ear wrenching beeping from having 0 scape dolls with 0 mates to restore themselves. Meanwhile the racast, which is also about to die, is desprately focusing all his efforts on Olga Flow so as to end this nightmare and live to pass on the tale. As thoughts of"Endless nightmare" race through his head, he makes the final blow on Olga Flow to end the challenge and proceed on to whatever precipce lies before them in the next area. Truley a great time was had.

My next weapon may be the ever fabled J-Sword.

I agree. This weekend I wana have at EP2 challenge again...maybe I can get together with some long lost friends that I have not spoke to in weeks and we can have a fun challenge party...starting at C1 if we like!

I never completed C3...*sigh*
Since they are all up maybe I should get my lazy (and busy) rear off the seat and play some challenge again. I am wayyyyy outa practice! and it shows!

Let's have a challenge party this weekend sometime!
Everyone is geared up for the FFXI event also, so maybe Saturday is booked.
Maybe we can have a challenge party the following weekend?
What do we think?
I know some people would have to do some HL reactivating...but I would love to have a good 'ol fashoned AT get together once again in Altair 05-07 or where ever we wana meet.

I am curious of thoughts on this? Anyone else in on a fun weekend of PSO challenge or LV up play?

Its a good feeling. C3 & C4 are close favorites right behind C2.

Ok, tell me this isn't ridiculous...
I actually know that stage better than probably any other (besides c1 of course).
And you know what owns c4? A dark pallasch. Even better finding one with 70% hit too. But strangely enough we still lost at olga.
And what's even better than that you say? Finding a dark pallasch with 100% hit. I was so happy after fiding that (and I was my HUcast too) I owned that stage. In fact, that playthrough I was actually showing the other three the stage (meaning it was their first time). We got all the way to the last stage and someone took one of those damn warps from the laser fences in the hallway (mind you after I said to open their menu screens). I can't help but think if I was with a good team we would have beat the stage that time...
So that makes a total of twice I've actually made it to Olga; both times I thought it was in the bag. But no...
I really think I'm bad luck. No matter how good you are, if you play with me, the team will fail (and not necessarily because I'm a bad player; stupid things will happen).

Olga, you just wait. I'm gonna kick you ass so bad next time.

See? I told you I was gonna get Olga next time.
I now add Alia, my FOnewearl, to the list of getting an S-rank.
I am now the owner of DEATH NEEDLE, beware! This bad-ass gun will confuse ya and you'll end up attacking your own friends.
So far I'm 2/2 on getting through the towers, and the second time was about 33 minutes or so.
I think the few of us who have done it should get on sometime and do it AT style.

Well, its just that by the time we get on your already in bed. Congrats mang. Dont forget to do c-mode 2 more times again with that character to get a yellow ring and your choice of Hunter shell,Ranger Field or, Force Field. Post the stats when you get a chance.

Hmm...I guess that would explain why I got a yellow ring the second time.

I don't know the stats right now though; I'm at school.

I think Saturday night would be a good time. If possible that is.

Oh, and I guess it's actually good to have 2 FOrces in the towers. The second time I was my FOnewearl and there was another FOnewearl along with a HUcast and HUcaseal. It was pretty easy actually; I was surprised. And AC9, you weren't kidding about the exp gain; it's crazy! You go up levels all the time there.

But anyways, I'm on Friday night and Saturday night, usually from midnight (est) to whenever I decide to go to bed. Sometimes on during the day, but no definite time there.

*sigh* And yes, I still have to get my HUcast and RAcast through 2c4 still.

Maybe I can sometime soon.

I was asked once to do C mode, and never asked again..
I guess that's what happens when you don't really have any good friends that play anymore. I have basically given up on ever thinking about actually obtaining an EP2 S-rank weapon.
