I finally had a chance to upload some of the latest screenshots I have been taking on SWG. These are from my newest character on the Eclipse server.
This is my Zabrak, sitting in a Cantina awaiting adventure. A few players have purchased AT-ST's with faction points, There were two of these in this city. The AT-ST in action on the hill versus Rebel players. We watched this battle for a while, eventually the Imperials won. Busy night in the Cantina. Combat on Corellia Arrival on Tattoine. Sunrise on the Dune Sea en route to Jabba's. Arrival at Jabba's Palace. more later |

Cool screens there Dive. Those graphics look really nice. That character of yours reminds me of Quan Chi from MK4.

What class are you now, Dive? Did you end up going for one of the multi-class jobs? And what faction(s) are you in?
Most importantly, how many wookies have you shot? -------------------- |

56k supported, but you will be downloading patches FOREVER every time you connect. And although you can tune down the graphics a bit, you still need a pretty hefty PC to run it (1.5 ghz proc, at LEAST 512 ram (but it runs way better with about a gig), and of course a good video card.)

I am playing this with a 56k connection and the lag is not horribly noticeable. The patches on the average take 20 minutes for a big one and around 8-10 minutes for a smaller one. My pc's processor is a P4 1.7 and I have 512 MB of Ram with a GeForce2ti 64MB. The game runs pretty sweet, but I get bad lag in heavliy populated cities.
Crush, this character is fairly new and I don't have the time to grind away at the xp. I mostly goof off and explore a bit. I'm still deciding what I want to do with this one, but I started off with Marksman and am working on Carbines. Still Neutral as far as faction but leaning towards Imperial for the neat toys they get. |

Here's a couple more shots I took tonight.
In the entrance to Jabba's, a few other players were gathering to tackle the missions you need to complete to gain access to the interior of the Palace. This one had some flying monstrosity as a pet. We decided to head to Wayfar to get some xp before starting the Jabba missions. Successful Destroy mission, also qualified for the next skill in my profession tree. Offering some Ranged Support to my teammate. |

As for those system reqs, they sound even steeper than those of FF11. My vid card is like 4 or 5 years old and I'm still on a P3. I'll upgrade one of these days.....

A few more shots.
Another exterior shot of Jabba's with my new vidcard Clearing out a Sevorrt lair for some Moisture Farmers. Came across this house in my travels and decided to have a look inside. Purchasing a travel ticket to Corellia to retrieve a weapon. A group of players waiting for the transport ship. More pets. Some of the weapons for sale in the Bazaar |

Cool shots Dive! I'd love to try out Star Wars Galaxies but I'm afraid it would completely consume my soul. I used to be a pretty big fan of Star Wars back in the day, so this title has sparked my interest from day one. Thank goodness my PC is too crappy to run it. =D
