He scares people.
They see his name on the site, and they freeze.
"Oh my god! Dive is here!! What did we do wrong? He's gonna scold us all!!!"


My turn to origin-ize this thread.
A long time ago, I was part of another board. So was Dive. Then again, he is apart of almost every board out there (watch your back people). We were all heavy into PSO. Well, as time went on, less and less people were playing PSO so the threads about it started slacking. I grew ansy and made a thread about "who still plays?". Dive chimed in and said, "Hey you should come over to this place called AT. There are alot of us who still play quite regularly." So, I did. Bryn sponsored me until I became a Neo. Back then, we had to be on like a month trial, running errands (coffee, laundry.. that kinda thing), harrasment (paddling, wearing a dress... oh the humility), the endurance test (uuuhg my feet are still bloody), and many other things before we were let in. But it was all worth it... the new wardrobe, the vacations, the cars...

Kinda like Uni myself also...through PSO.The virtual lobby of PSO where awesome for meeting people and one early morning(i was so addicted to PSO when it first came out that i use to hop online 30 minutes before heading to work,very early in the morning)...i met Lish and Crush in the lobby,they where doing their all nighter runs and i also met Woe,who was IVI back then.I had my newly made RAcaseal Ann-Dro and i joined IVI's game and started roleplaying my Android a bit and to my surprise IVI joined in the act,instead of brushing off my roleplay,so i thought that was cool.Then i came here.

Here is a lil' ditty about me.

I bought FFXI for the hard drive to get new maps for Socom II, which I played alot with my krew from work. So, we turn on the trial, all get on, pick Bastok as our hometown because we were all like mele guys. I think I was a Taru Monk at 1st. It was funny because we were all on the phone saying "I am at the fountain!" (In the markets), and the other dudes were like "I am at the fountain!". Lol, we were all in different worlds. Enter next day, surfing the web at work we figure out we need a worldpass, I figure I want to be a THF and probably a NIN later, and we research a little about the jobs. This is when me, a fat, balding, old man decide I need to be a Mithra! Uhg!

Within hours I have this jerk Cursive hitting on me online, and doing emotes and staring at my ass and stuff. I was like womgz! Then I learned how to blist someone. I will roleplay a mithra to the extent that I am nice to other female charachters in the game, a sisterly thing, and that is IT!

Soon my work buds and me hit the dunes, 4 mele's and a RDM, and a BLM. We dont party with outsiders much, so we miss out on the love. We do extremely poorly, and dont know why, then we figure out, we need a WHM. One dude decides to do it, so we send him some gil, chill a few days, he calls in sick at work (lol), and soon we are good to go again.

At some point we all figure out we need gil, Pigmy and I learn to camp the goldsmith guild and make silver ingots. Soon we are sporting 100K gil, sweet. One other coworker and I get serious, he is a little Taru WHM/BLM (Pigmy). He uber outlevels me, you know the deal with WHM. I am more into fishing, he does some crafting, etc.

It progresses OK, we all get to level 30 eventually, I unlock NIN as my sub (Yea, Right SUB). The guys at work get extremely lazy, a few quit, come back, quit some more, bitch whine and complain, I get my Lu Shangs, make killa gil doing rusty fishing, get some freaky boots, and a nasty hairpin. I am all like, lets party!
Sometimes I get to sport 1 Mil Gil, ooh. It doesnt last long, I pick an expensive job.

In this time I have has 2-3 linkshells, since I fish so much, I dont care for most of em. I would rather not here about who needs gil, who wants me to plvl them, who's penis is whatever. Nonsence was my opinion of Linkshells. I did get one with an Uber JP player who said he was abandoned by his peers who went on to HNM linkshells, I was like, whats HNM? He loaned me his Ochode's Kote for a while /smile. Eventually, I was abandonded in that linkshell. The only pearl holder, and the only one on it. I loved it, I could use it, and fish undisturbed. People didnt think I was a b0tt3r neither. Cool!

Fast forward, I am leveling NIN into the 50's. I read about NIN and hate control, and I am uber self concious about it from 37 on. I even post on Alakazam a post called "Do I suck?". I am vokin, spammin Ni elementals, setup a nice wheel macro dealy. From 37-50 something I have 2 good parties, just 2. One is with a Galka BRD named Dchere, who sets up JAP only parties, and he is not JAP. Usually its lamers who cant hold back on their nuking, or bow and arrow shit, and cry because they cant find a PLD. My one good party was 2 mithra's that chill together constantly who were rank 9. They did an uber job of killing the mob, without pulling that prick from me. I spent a few nights with them actually, but they soon outlevel me.

Then I get a /tell from some Galka THF named Breaker, I am like, Oh! Galka THF. Someone did their research, lol. He said to expect an invite from Galactia. I was omw! I party with them a few nights, and we had/have a good setup. Nobody is too bossy, everyone gets along, I learn a thing or two. A few of us wish we had a set party, I see a falling star, make a wish. Boom, I am in a set party and get invited to a Linkshell, the Apocalypse Tribe. The motive of this linkshell is total world domination, and enabling it members to become more powerful for HNM's later on. I am down with that. My set even waits for me while I go to Disneyworld for a few days away from game.

I die one day fishing SSG, Abaya comes and Raise II's me, even though she does not like me. Nice people. Someone named Tanshin assists me for my AF boots, I am impressed. I found a place.

Now I get flack all day from the guys at work about how uber I am, and dont help them all the time.

Good trade off I think.

That was a pretty fun read stinky, good stuff. I recall a thread like this made awhile back. I went and looked for it and low and behold Becoming apocalypse I look back at my typing and it seems like all this "womzg" stuff has dropped my typing skills.

Wow. I'm so cool. I've made cameos in TWO origin stories.

Sigh. I was playing the game before X and X player and they are both level billion and I'm still level suck. In fact, my character may be gone.

I don't really have an origin story. I just kinda got the game at the same time as crushimon and when he made the linkshell he hooked me up with a pearl. (I could be totally wrong. My memory is HORRIBLE.) At any rate, I might be back. OooOOooo
