Due to be released tomorrow, Sonic Gems Collection includes Sonic CD, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic R, a number of Game Gear Sonic titles, and as a bonus, Vectorman 1 and 2. The Japanese PS2 version of this collection substitutes Streets of Rage for the Vectorman titles for some reason. Look scu look! boo, no sonic emote? edit: fixed --> This post has been edited by Dive: Aug 15 2005, 08:35 AM |

Streets of Rage > Vector Man
Sonic Gems, eh? I know they have the other release out, with all the classic Sonic titles for systems past. I was thinking about getting it, since it's dirt cheap, but I blew enough money on games as it is. I guess it was a matter of time before they released all of the "lesser" Sonic Titles. Super Subpar Sonic Titles... err, I mean Sonic *Gems* is good for one's collection, seeing as how the more well know Sonic titles are in our collection as it is. |

Living in the city! You knooow you go to surviiiive! You got to keep that dream alive! Where everything is free! Can't you see!?
A little bit of the unbelievably corny music in Sonic R, and if you played it as much as I did, you WILL know the lyrics. I haven't played Sonic CD though, and I hear it's really good. I haven't played Sonic the Fighters either... though I'm not sure I'd want to haha. I might pick this up, totally price dependent though. -------------------- |

I enjoyed Sonic CD. Not as much as Sonic & Knuckles + Sonic 3 though. The bonus stages were bleh. Fighter's Megamix had like 2 characters from Sonic Fighters. That was pretty awesome. -------------------- |

hahahaa... awww Dive! You remembered!!
Funny enough, I could use a good Sonic game right about now. There is really something to be said about just jumping into a game and being able to just play. Once the price goes down a bit ($30 is a bit too steep)I will totally pick this up. I have never played any of these Sonc games before. I have only played the Genesis and Dreamcast ones. -------------------- |

Oh man.... that brought back memories. That show ended too soon. Way better than the other version, though Jaleel White (Steve Urkel) voiced Sonic in both of them. -------------------- "Computers are incredibly fast, accurate and stupid. Human beings are incredibly slow, inaccurate and brilliant. Together they are powerful beyond imagination." -Albert Einstein |
