Did you check out the demo on Live Marketplace? I'm not one for JRPGs, but the graphics on ES do look stunning, amazing cel-shading work.

Supposedly it is an excellent jipjap rpg. The exploration is pretty gimpy, but the battles, atmosphere, and characters are supposedly good.
