The beta is up, and its excellent. All the fraggy goodness of Quake 3 is back. For a web browser game it runs pretty damn smooth.
They have a ranking system, with achievements. Also the game keeps track of your skill level, so you can easily find matches of equal difficulty. Quake 3 has always been my favorite FPS. http://www.quakelive.com/ -------------------- |

I was on the closed beta for this last year, its pretty damn true to oldschool quake 3. From what i hear it has really low system requirements too, so pretty much anyone with a browser can play.
Ok maybe not dreamcast browser. -------------------- |

The only problem is:
free + great FPS + low system requirements + no client to download because you play in browser = Long as hell queues to play I hope they increase server limits to meet demand. This post has been edited by Scan_Man: Feb 26 2009, 04:48 PM -------------------- |
