That's pretty much what New York night life is about. Going club to club, dancing, drinking, and picking up chicks/guy at the end of the night. Rich or poor, it's what some people do every weekend in New York. There's a whole culture to going about it too: body language, groups, flirting; it's all quite nuts. It's fucking expensive, though. Reserving means buying a bottle. Buying a bottle usually locks you in cushy sofa for you and your friends, but you're spending like 200 bucks on a bottle of booze, to lock in a sofa. Obviously you'll go through a few of those among a group of people. Drinks are overpriced at bars, which is why you'll notice that him and his buddies got loaded up on alcohol before leaving. It's called pre-gaming. You enter the clubs already buzzed and don't need to buy much alcohol while at the club, keeping you buzzed the entire night, without spending too much. You're still going to spend 200 bucks regardless if you get a sofa/table. If those guys really are stock brokers, then they're probably hurting right now financially. Most stock brokers I know are making shit money now. Larping chick: Dude, she didn't blink ONCE!!!! Granted it's kinda, I dunno, fucked up, dorky, and sad at the same time. She probably has some kind of disability/mental thing going on. Like ADD or whatever. So, I really can't poke too much fund at her, especially if she's got some type of physical disability.
