Have you guys been reading the magazine reviews of EP3? They are all giving it less than stellar reviews. Mostly in the 3 1/2 out of 5 range. Now, 90% of these people have also said that they just didn't get the change though, so it's kinda hard to take the reviews seriously. But, there was one guy who said it was the best game he has ever played, so ...
They all did say that there wasn't anything really like it out there now, expecially being online play capable.
It makes me think that, in this day, reviewers (and most game players in general) aren't going to like a game unless you can blow the crap outta someone with a gun larger than you are. I am looking forward to the slower pace.

I got it! :3 Did my first offline battle. Got a C. This is pretty fun. I'll be online tonight.
I just picked it up while at lunch break at work today...I'm gonna hook up some offline mode to get the hang, then I'll see you fools online!
I'll pick it up sometime in the next week or so. Spring break is coming up for me soon, but I have a lot of stuff I need to finish up before then... and I don't need any (more!) distractions.
I'm still undecided about going online with this version. It would definitely be fun to play PSO with everyone again... but I'm really not big on the focus now being competitive instead of cooperative. (Maybe I'm wrong about that? I hope so..)

OK, this game is the shit. It is definetly not as user-friendly or easy as PSO, but goddamn once I had it all figured out I couldn't get enough. The competitive aspect really keeps it going too. Its great to know you are kicking someone else's ass.

haha yesterday was quite fun. Unfortunately my new Booma deck didn't do too well. (not even once a Gobooma came into my hand... I know I had 2 in there somewhere)

Because of how the phone lines are set up in our apartment, its a real pain to hook up the GC without diconnecting the DSL, so I won't be online with this game much, till my BBA comes from nintendo some time later next week. I'll try to be on as much as I can squeeze in though!

Ah, last night ended up with no real good matches. (Not to mention not many folks around antares 5 were willing to duel me) It was a pretty long and boring night.. Ended up pretty irritated about any veterans on the PSOW block tournaments

I saw Kaz online for just a second last night, but he changed ships before I got a chance to say hi. Oh well...my first 2 online matches went pretty bad. It's a lot different that playing the computer offline lol. My team lost both times. I'm a loser...lol

I had some pretty vicious battles yesterday, and I saw some cards that I hadn't seen before (Damn that Gi Gue!). Anyway, I'll probably be online again tonight.

Antares is now a /B ship, which means that you get more exp when you win, but you lose exp when you lose. I'm not online yet, but I'm all up for playing on Altair =P

What you lose depends on your clvl or rank I think. Only lost 2 xp last night

yea me and castoth owned dj and AC9 last night and they lost like 7-10 exp and me and kyori have like a rivalry now lol if only i had a steady partner this game rocks to much....
