Full Version: Ultimate Olga Flow
Apocalypse Tribe HQ > Diversions > Phantasy Star
Rogue
Maybe I'm just a little crazy... But after a
Megid fest, I found myself standing in front of the
transporter to Olga Flow (I'm talking offline now)

So using super amped foie (club of laconium + foie merge) I

beat the first form without any problems at all.

The second form was fun. I found his weakness, zonde, and
casted it a few times, but his first sword wave thing got
me in a single hit.

So my qustion is, how much HP do you think I'll need before

I bother trying again? At the moment, I have somewhere
around 630 HP and somewhere in the area of 250 base

Don't bother with only 630 hp. Come back when you have like 800 or 900 hp. Olga flow is only hard if you can't survive his laser rain attack. It's much more difficult to take out all the Giels when solo then when your in a full team. If you put on like 4 Dragon/Hps(or god/hps) you can retry again to see if it makes a difference.

Luckily most basic techs have rifle range, so if you take out 1 giel and keep your distance you can avoid it's dark rain.

What I don't get is why do they make stats like DFP and EVP almost useless during most boss fights? Kinda defeats the purpose of saying "ya, Iam the best tanking class in the game cause my DFP is really high".

I understand trying to create a sort of "level-gate" to prevent low level players from proceding to far by having unblockable hits which deal a set amount of damage, but they are just way to many per boss, and not enough evp or dfp based attacks.

If you hid behind those rocks and oil drums that fall from the ceiling when he stomps, you don't take any damage from the shockwave attack. Since you're a FO, you can just hide and zap him with zonde or something bash.gif You still get hit with the heavens punshment beam thingy though, so you gotta have enough hp for that.
