Well it's that time of the year again where I go on my Zelda binge and try and beat the first Zelda for NES.


I've yet to do so. I've been atempting it for like 9 years now, and only in the last two was I able to find the first dungin.

I LOVE the Resident Evil games, although I COMPLETELY suck at them. I own four of them (1,2,3 and CV) and I have only ever finished RE2 (and I had to cheat).
Also, ever played that DC game called 4 Wheel Thunder. Frigin hard as hell. You start at the end of the pack and have to work your way to number one. WTF were they thinking?? !!!

Terminator 2 for SNES. . .

Walking at the speed of mollases, only being able to jump like 3 milimeters off the ground, the impossibility of dodging bullets, and only having one life throughout the ENTIRE game made for some eranged momenets.

The kamikaze cops in the later driving levels were probobly the worst. .

I think another recent hard game for me was. . . Sim City 3000 >_> I can't run a city for crap, so it ends up turning to a new jersey esque looking place.

oh and as far as hard games go.. stuntman was damn hard..and the license challenges for gran tourismo always gave me problems...

I get frustrated very easily with games. So for me, Ninja Gaiden on xbox takes the cake. It was really fun(when I wasn't pulling my hair out) and gorgeous looking, but jesus that game made me wanna break my controler.

The hardest game ever created is Batman and Robin for the Genesis. There is no game harder. >_>

Two off the top of my head are Overlord and NARC (both NES titles). Overlord was this space conquest game and I could never beat the first damn guy. I spent countless hours on the game and pretty much got nowhere. NARC without a Game Genie was just impossible. Friggin' psycho clowns. @_@

EDIT: Oh and Hylide... nothing but frustration there!

I would say Shinobi for PS2. I've cursed at it, threw my controller around, kicked & punched the air, and cried like a little baby.
Others include Ikaruga and the later difficulties in Viewtiful Joe.

I think I have this game for my original Game Boy.
Did they make a port of the NES version?

I think he means the original NES Zelda, Link's Awakening came out after the SNES' Link to the Past (making it the fourth Zelda game). Also Links Awakening was remade after the the gameboy color was released, complete with full color, extra dungeon and other goodies.

Viewtiful Joe is pretty damn hard. I just recently started playing it again (because it pissed me off before) and now its pissing me off again. Damn you Fire Leo...damn you...

Shaq-Fu a game of that calibur... its dam near impossible to beat

I know I said MMX6 before, but I was reminded of Othello on the NES, which I hadn't played in about 14 years. It's not the "fun" kind of hard, but it's hard in the respect that the computer cheats like a motherfucker every time. And this is even on the lowest difficulty setting.

Hands down hardest game ever.

Animal Crossing.
Hands down. No contest.
The intense dexterity needed to master your character is insane.
Not to mention the letter writting! OMG!!

New hardest game ever. "Castlevania" for gameboy advance. Dont remember what it was called but dam was that hard. Shinobi and Ninja Gaiden cant even compare to how hard this goddam game is. Ive had it for like 2 years almost and still havent beaten it....
