So last night, on a whim, Dive & I dusted off one of our trusty Dreamcasts and threw in Soul Calibur, a game that we haven't played seriously in over a couple years. After 10 matches or so, I realized that this game still had the same impact on me that it did in the beginning. It was still an
amazingly kickass game, and just as fun as when I had played it before.
Which makes me curious. Do you guys have old favorite games that are still fun to go back to? Or, is it just love 'em and leave 'em as boredom sets in?

Q3A, UT, RE:CV too. and allthough its not that old, Time Splitters 2, is something i could always play. maybe caus it uses the perfect dark engine? who knows...
although i'd have to admit PSO has had a firm grip on me lately.

I guess PSO counts for me... since I obviously didn't get enough abuse from the DC version. ;p Hmm... also, the Gran Turismo series has always been very enjoyable to me. I'm sure there's more, but that's about all I can think of right now... Digital Design has dulled my senses for the moment. x.x

Never played Soul Calibur so I cannot relate to that one. But, sometimes I feel the urge to play through Final Fantasy 4, 5, and 6 on SNES. Still have yet to get to lv99 legitimately on any of them.

My personal fave of those three is #4. No final boss I've ever faced has given me more grief than Zeromus.

For me, Ace Combat 4 is a game that never gets old for me. I just get this great feeling when I'm zipping around shooting down the badguys...Its just a really special game to me.
I also like Rez, Contra 3, Metal Slug X, and DDR a lot, I just never get sick of 'em!
